Abstract: Fly ash and sludge are all solid waste. With fly ash as an additive, sludge is composted in aerobic condition, which can achieve agricultural requirements. After testing, we find that the activity of fly ash can be promoted and stimulated by adding different proportions of activator under alkaline conditions, which has a low activity under conventional conditions. Adding slow-releasing additive, fertility of sludge may keep longer, which has a certain reference value to agricultural fertilizer production.

Abstract: A Ce-Zr-Ti oxide catalyst was prepared by an impregnation method and tested for the selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3. The Ce-Zr-Ti oxide catalyst exhibited high activity and more than 95% NO conversion was obtained within the temperature range 300-500 °C at the high gas hourly space velocity of 50,000 h-1. The addition of Zr improved the activity of Ce-Ti oxides especially at higher reaction temperatures and their resistance to SO2.

Abstract: Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is an important enzyme in mammalian nervous systems. The Ellman assay is usually used to measure AChE activity and calculate the inhibition rate by measure the absorbance at 412nm by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. However, an alternative absorbance at 329nm which assigned as S-S of 5,5'-dithio-bis-2-nitrobenzoic acid (DTNB) was found, and it negatively correlated with the absorbance at 412nm. Therefore, the absorbance at 329nm was also possible used to measure AChE activity and calculate the inhibition rate. In addition, the reaction time should be considered in the process to transfer the relationship of these two absorbance values, because Cu (II) would combine with 5'-mercapto-2'-nitrobenzoic acid (5-MNBA).

Abstract: In this paper the activity calculation model for SiO2-Al2O3-CaO-MgO-FeO-MnO slag system has been established according to the molecule-ion coexistence theory. From that the activity of each component in the converter slag at steelmaking temperature can be calculated and then provides the basis for analyzing the equilibrium distribution of element between slag and steel, as well as thermodynamics analysis related to the activity. With the increasing of FeO mass fraction, the activity of 3CaO.SiO2 shows a significant decreasing trend and the activity of MnO.SiO2 and 2MnO.SiO2 increases slowly. The activity of 3CaO.SiO2 increases at first then decreases, with the increasing of basicity. When the basicity w(CaO)/w(SiO2)=3, the activity of 3CaO.SiO2 reaches its maximum value. The activities of MnO.SiO2 and 2MnO.SiO2 decrease gradually.

Abstract: A Ce-Zr-Ti composite oxide catalyst was prepared by the sol-gel method and its NH3-SCR activities were investigated. The Ce-Zr-Ti oxide catalyst exhibited high activity and 92.7-98.8% NO conversion was obtained in the temperature range 250-450 °C at the high gas hourly space velocity of 50,000 h-1. In comparison with Ce-Ti oxide catalyst, the Ce-Zr-Ti oxide catalyst showed strong resistance to H2O and SO2. The excellent performance of the Ce-Zr-Ti oxide catalyst might be attributed to the large surface area and strong interaction among the three elements of Ce, Zr and Ti.

AGWL(Abstract Grid Workflow Language) is an abstract language based on XML, it was always used to describe grid workflow. The basic activities are connected by the control flow and data link. AGWL uses advanced control flow to support the parallel execution of conditions and loops. As an example, we finally introduced a sales process to show the capacity of the grid workflow language AGWL.

Abstract: The landfill leachate belongs to typical high concentration and organic pollutant wastewater. In this study, Landfill leachate was treated with Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation (CWAO) method. The monitoring indicators consist of CODCr, absorbance, pH and chroma. The results show that the activity of the catalysts arrange from high to low: Co (NO3)2, Cu (NO3)2, Fe (NO3)3, CuSO4, Fe2(SO4)3, Mn (NO3)2, FeSO4, Zn (NO3)2, Bi (NO3)3, Zr (NO3)2, Ni (NO3)2; For the same kind of metal, the catalytic activity of nitrates is higher than that of sulfates; Relative to the distribution of catalyst, the activity of Co (NO3)2 is the strongest. With the optimized catalyst Co (NO3)2 , the landfill leachate has been treated. With the extension of reaction time, the effluent CODCr, absorbance and chroma reduced, but the wastewater biodegradability indicator B/C improved. At the reaction time of 90 min, the CODCr of landfill leachate reduced to 7176 mg/L, and the absorbance and the chroma reduced to 9.1 and 1600 times, respectively. The above results show that the activity of catalyst Co (NO3)2 is high, and the biochemical indicators B/C of wastewater is higher than the critical value of 0.3. Therefore, the treated wastewater shows the good biodegradability, and the chosen catalyst of Co (NO3)2 presents the high activity.

Abstract: Designers need to consider both the functional and production process requirements at the early stage of product development. A variety of the research works found in the literature has been proposed to assist designers in selecting the most viable manufacturing process chain. However, they do not provide any assistance for designers to evaluate the processes according to the particular circumstances of their company. This paper describes a framework of an Activity and Resource Advisory System (ARAS) that generates advice about the required activities and the possible resources for various manufacturing process chains. The system provides more insight, more flexibility, and a more holistic and suited approach for designers to evaluate and then select the most viable manufacturing process chain at the early stage of product development.

Abstract: Lipase from Candida rugosa (CRL) was used to catalyze the transesterification of vinyl acetate with 2-hydroxymethyl-1,4-benzodioxan in ionic liquid microemulsions (H2O/[BmiPF6, water in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate), and the results demonstrated that CRL could preserve higher catalytic activity in H2O/[BmiPF6 microemulsions.

Abstract: The algebraic semantics has been applied to describe and verify semantics for a long period of time. In this paper, the algebraic semantics of EPDL of task level is studied. The paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, the initial algebraic semantics of EPDL (AS-EPDL) of task level is given. As a consequence of the practical purpose, we give the expansion type, which can help the modularization of programming. However, there are two key problems we should concern about when the expansion type is built - hierarchy-consistency and sufficient-completeness. Therefore, we give the verification of these two properties in the second part of the paper.
