Abstract: A control mathematical model in pitch and yaw direction is presented to apply on missiles controlled by double-channel with style canard. Based on the mathematical model, the influence of deflection angle measurement error and actuator performance on actuator control is analyzed. The results show that the measure error of lean angle and actuator delay will produce control coupling in pitch and yaw direction and that will reduce control efficiency.

Abstract: In this paper, a new actuator with nanoscale micro-displacement is reported. The actuator not only can achieve a large stroke and nanoscale positioning accuracy, but also has the advantages of compact, low cost, high reliability and a single control system. The drive is controlled by a single power, and it consists of stepper motor, harmonic gear reducer, screw and the guide rail. The stepper motor is controlled by the pulse train and the harmonic gear reducer has high precision and small hysteresis. The precision screw converts the rotary motion of the stepper motor into linear displacement, and the plunger pushes the target in nanoscale motion accuracy through the guide rail finally.

Abstract: The actuator of robot joint is designed based on Power source of the GMM. The working principle and characteristics of the GMM are discussed in detail and the work performance is validated by experiment. The differential decline amplifier configuration, the rotor and housing part are designed and the assembly drawings are gotten. After designing, the intensity of each portion is analyzed. Not only the mechanism of design of actuator of the robot joint is changed, and also the large-mass problem of the actuator mechanism of biomimetic micro-mechanical is solved. The reference is provided for other actuator mechanisms.

Abstract: The purpose of health prognostic is to predict the future health status of system and determine the time from the current health state to functional failure completely. Application data time series analysis method often can get the expected prediction effect. Taking into account the failure characteristics of the actuators in flight control system, the autoregressive moving average model is introduced to health prognostic. The prognostic model is established. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Abstract: Actuator is widely used in the control system. Among all characteristics of an actuator, dynamic stiffness is an important indicator; it must satisfy the requirement to inhibit the control surface’s flutter. This article described the definition of dynamic stiffness of actuator, introduced the importance of the research of dynamic stiffness of actuator, designed a test bench for dynamic stiffness testing and putted forward a method which based on Programmable Logic Controller to simulate a signal generator which generated sinusoidal signal load to test the dynamic stiffness of actuator, found out a worst point of the actuator’s dynamic stiffness, improved the stability of the actuator system and avoided the occurrence of flutter at the frequency.

Abstract: Because the passive mount could not meet the requirements of vibration isolation and noise reduction for vehicle, the semi active mount and active mount were considered as the developing trend of reducing vibration and noise. An active vibration control system consists of a sensor and an actuator together with a control unit. The development of the systems is often limited by the chosen actuator technology. This article list the common engine vibration control system actuator, analyzing their respective performance summed up their role in the control of vibration and trends.

Abstract: An automobile power-train active mount system with a piezoelectric stack actuator is introduced. The influence caused by power-train to the body of the car is analyzed by means of parameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control, on which the simulating results are based. It turns out that this control scheme can restrain the influence better caused by power-train to the body of the car.

Abstract: Deployable flexible displays attract a great attention recently. The flexible display used on electronic equipment have been developed, which can deploy to reveal a much larger screen or rolled up. However, one of major problems is its actuation of deployment and fixture. In this paper, a deployable display actuated by the SMP actuator is proposed. The shape memory polymer (SMP) actuator, which is considered to be attached to the back side of a flexible display, is used to deploy and fix the flexible display. A new method of laser-induced actuation of SMP actuator is investigated. By this method, the SMP can be induced by infrared light transmitted through a treated optical fiber embedded in the actuator.

Abstract: The biological flight involves the movement of a wing (lift surface) in viscous medium and it generates lift and resistance for going forward through friction compared to Reynolds number. The morphing concept is generally based on optimizing the aerodynamic form during the mission so it can execute a maneuver flight. This article desires a short passage through the mathematical aspect in 2D of the morphing profile concept.

Abstract: This paper presents the synthesis method of an effective fault tolerant control system for actuators of manipulators which are described by nonlinear differential equations with variable parameters. This system ensures due to specifically formed additional control signal insensitivity to faults arising in actuators . This allows ensuring the operation efficiency of manipulators in aggressive and extremal environment. The results of simulation confirmed the efficiency of the proposed method.
