Abstract: Anti-locking brake systems (ABS) are well established in the automotive industry as a safety feature. ABS generally offers superior vehicle safety by limiting the longitudinal wheel slip in a braking event with deep slip condition. The study presents a creative solution for the elastic element included in the electromagnetic valve meant to reduce the noise and vibration associated with the use of the hand brake. At the same time, the suggested solution improves the dynamics in vehicle’s ABS regulator device by allowing its working frequency to be increased and the braking space to be implicitly reduced. Drivers would have better directional control of the vehicle equipped with ABS. The performance of this constructive solution, materialized in the creation of its own high frequency, is showcased and confirmed in this study by the results obtained experimentally.

Abstract: This paper discusses the technological method of residual stress relaxation of bearing rings by centerless running with cylindrical rolls. Described a new approach to relieve residual stresses by centerless running of elastically-deforming rolls on the basis of the geometrical setup of the equipment. It was found that geometrical setup of the equipment influences an elastic strain of parts and the degree of residual stress relaxation. We obtained a mathematical model for calculation of setup parameters to ensure the required variation value of elastic strain of the part. The results of experiments confirm the influence of the geometric setup on the magnitude of residual stress relaxation.

Abstract: According to the geometric optics, off-axis parabolic mirrors are used in terahertz time domain system for focusing the terahertz pulse. Theoretically, the focus of the parabolic reflector to eliminate the effects of spherical aberration, but a very high sensitivity to its optical axis misalignment, subtle misalignment will reduce the focal spot quality and therefore the need for precision optical axis adjustment is important. This article discusses terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system adjustment method in four off-axis parabolic mirror, after many experiments have proved feasible. In this work, two optical path adjustment methods were analyzed. The first approach is based on adjustment of spot shape from collimation and focus. In the second method, depend on the principle that the incident light path is different from reflected light path in parabolic cross section. Through testing this two methods have been proved feasible.

Abstract: This paper discusses the resurvey conditions of the GPS horizontal network for WZ Bridge in Wanzhou District, Chongqing City, China. Through the adjustment of the observation data, this paper shows that using the short side as the lofting directed edge in high-precision lofting should be avoided. Further, resurvey results show that the control network accuracy can meet standard requirements. The control network can be used for precision measurement in the anti-collision facilities installation engineering of WZ Bridge, and can also be a reference for other engineering control networks in mountainous river areas.

Abstract: The controversy over the content of adjustment on prime cost sum of engineering project was summarized. The payment subject was rationally analyzed first as the basis for adjustment subsequently. Then the adjustment content was illustrated by the stage of transaction and construction respectively. At last this paper gives detailed adjustment process and advice for adjustment of the prime cost sum and its payment.

Abstract: Since energy storage with phase change materials is an effective means of energy saving or conservation in buildings, its investigation and applications have received more and more during the recent years. The research actuality on energy saving of adjustment and control of building indoor temperature was summarized in this paper, and the two types of the major techniques with phase change material applied in adjustment and control of building indoor temperature was reviewed, in which one is the technique combined phase change material with building maintenance structure, the other is the technique to make phase change material applied to heating or air conditioning systems. The future research of phase change energy storage in adjustment and control of building indoor temperature was prospected.

Abstract: The adjustment and durability test of steering column is an important parameter for automobiles safety, but the unified standard and test method is not yet formed. To solve the shortcomings of the traditional testers, such as less-automated, few test item, low universalness and weak ability of data report generation, this paper design a new test machine for the adjustment and durability of automobiles steering column on the basis of advanced foreign standards and test method. The test result indicated that this test machine embodies the characteristic of easy operation, stable function, and wide suitability, which improves the measurement accuracy and efficiency.
