Abstract: For a closed working environment, the CO2 content in the air in a closed space will rise continuously due to personnel breathing and some equipment or electronic devices, and even exceed the allowable content in the normal working environment. In order to prevent the CO2 content from exceeding the standard in the closed working environment, the method of low temperature liquefaction is used to separate the CO2 in the air. Through simulation calculation and comparison of key parameters of the process of using cascade liquefaction and nitrogen expansion liquefaction to reduce CO2 concentration in air, it is concluded that it is feasible to use cryogenic liquefaction method to separate carbon dioxide from air to purify air and improve air quality in confined space.

Abstract: The comparison of the phase compositions and catalytic properties of the solid components of welding aerosol (SCWAs) obtained as a result of metal welding by two types of electrodes, ANO-4 and TsL‑11 was made. Their phase compositions were investigated by X-ray diffraction phase analysis, IR spectroscopy, and pH-metry. The catalytic properties of SCWAs were studied in the low-temperature reaction of ozone decomposition. Both SCWA samples were found to purify the ozone-air mixtures (OAM) from ozone at its concentration of 1 mg/m3 to the levels below the maximum permissible concentration (MPCO3) however the protective time of SCWA-ANO-4 (50 h) was higher than that of SCWA-TsL-11 (3 h) because of the differences in their compositions

Abstract: The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is used to design the position of the inlet and outlet of the air conditioning and analyzing the air flow field and temperature distribution inside the operating room .The result showed the purification air conditioning of the mobile operating room can make air flow along only single direction with effectively avoiding the contamination gathering in the surgical area. It also can improve air cleanness of surgical area and fight against the infection of the patient wound. In the surgical area, the temperature is distributed around 23°C with perfect temperature distribution without obviously temperature gradient.

Abstract: In daily life because of polluted air people have a headache, insomnia, allergic diseases, respiratory diseases, etc. Air Purifier is also called "air cleaner" or "air sober machine". It refers to an equipment which can adsorb, decompose or transform all kinds of air pollutions, and volatilize an anion to improve the indoor air quality. In order to achieve the purpose of the microcomputer digital control of system, air purifier is designed with a single chip to reduce the artificial control. The single chip microcomputer is regarded as the core circuit part of the whole control system, the function of which is control all components of the air purification. Air purifier equipment consists of dust sensors, anion generator unit, fan module components and 4x4 matrix keyboard. Software program mainly includes: the display program, keyboard program, the clock program. This design aims at starting subsequent circuit module automatically through real-time control of air quality, achieving the function of air purification.

Abstract: Applying photothermal cohesion technology in fresh-air system and air-purifier is a new attempt. In this paper, an experiment of photothermal cohesion technology for the purification efficiency of PM2.5 is performed, and the improved efficiency value of cohesion unit on different wind speed is researched based on the specific devices. The effect size range of the photothermal cohesion was also studied by comparing the count concentration and mass concentration of particulate matter, separately under opening and closing the cohesion unit.

Abstract: Many factors have an essential impact on the air purification efficiency. Very important for a lot of industries is to choose right air purification system. Especially important is to take into account manufacturing including generation of combustible and explosive dust. One of the way to prevent possibilities of fire and explosion is using reverse flow cyclone as a pre-cleaning system. In the article the efficiency of such precleaner is showed and experimentally proved.

Abstract: Filter media is designed for industrial dust removal, but in some industrial sites, it is mainly used for air purification. So in the paper, we study air purification performance of typical filter media, including filtration efficiency, resistance, and stage efficiency. The experimental results show that wind velocity has a little effect on filtration efficiency for particulate matter in air. Besides, this paper compares the air purification performance of different filter media.

Abstract: Air pollution has a significant impact of human health. As modern individuals spend most of the day in tightly insulated buildings, there is a strong need for strategies to improve the quality of indoor air. A number of air cleaning methods ranging from simple filtration to photonic technologies have been used in commercial and residential air purifiers. Recently, a novel technology called Nano-Confined Catalytic Oxidation (NCCO) has been developed. In this study, the potential of NCCO versus two other commonly-used air purifiers to reduce odor nuisances caused by ammonia, toluene and hydrogen sulfide is evaluated. Twenty volunteers are asked to evaluate the odor levels before and after air purification, in a safe, controlled environment. The changes in odorant concentrations are also measured. The findings suggest that the NCCO-based air purifier outperforms the two other common residential air purifiers.

Abstract: In order to explore the impact on resistance from the structural parameters of clean filter materials used in air purification, filter resistance testing stand is built to test the selected materials. The comparison between experimental results and theoretical calculation indicates that the non-uniform distribution of fiber needs to be amended. Meanwhile, based on the experimental study of the influence on filter material resistance from filtration rate, porosity, fiber fineness and the thickness, the influence formulas are concluded. The value ranges of the factors’ influence are significantly instructive in reducing material resistance.
