Abstract: The objective of this research paper is to demonstrate the application of hybrid knowledge-based system, gauging absences of pre-requisites (GAP), and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approaches for selecting the improvement programs for Collaborative Green Manufacturing Management (CGMM) system. In this research, a generic knowledge-based system is developed to measure the level of CGMM adoption in automotive manufacturers compared to the ideal system. Using the GAP and AHP tools, the key green manufacturing improvement programs can be prioritized and demonstrated with an illustrative example.

Abstract: Based on the investigation of soil slope in Zhejiang province, the main influence factors of soil slope stability were analyzed and the risk assessment indexes of soil slop were selected. Then the risk assessment model of soil slope was established by the method of analytic hierarchy process according to the importance of each index. The security risk assessment system of soil slope was obtained finally. The research result has important reference for the soil slope management.

Abstract: Characteristics of the subway project is complex, concealed, lot of potential risks. Aiming these features, in order to reduce the risk of the project and improve the rationality and accuracy of subway risk assessment, the main risk factors in the subway are analyzed and identified by methods of expert investigation and checklists, and the risk index system is established, based on research of the subway construction risk mechanism. Then the membership of each evaluation factor is determined by the expert experience method, and the weight of each risk factor is determined through the method of analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Eventually, the subway engineering risk assessment model is established based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, the project example verifies the rationality of the risk assessment model.

Abstract: In this paper, the water environmental carrying capacity (WECC) was quantitatively analyzed considering the comprehensive effect of economy, society, resources, environment, and technology in Jiaozhou, Shandong province. An evaluation index system was established and applied in the evaluation of WECC in Jiaozhou from 2007 to 2011 with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and vector modulus method. The results indicated that the WECC index was at low level in the range of 0.061-0.080 with the decreasing trend firstly but then increasing trend gradually, which shows that the water resources shortage is becoming the key factor restricting the development of Jiaozhou. The results conform to the real condition of Jiaozhou and the research provides the scientific methods and suggestions for the coordinated development of social economy and water environment protection.

Abstract: By using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a solution is given in different aspects to analyze the weight of the impacts of electric vehicles. The economic and social impacts are found out to be the key factors. When EV’s penetration rate reaches a certain level, the lowest cost, lowest harm degree to our environment and society, and maximum possibility are considered to avoid using un-renewable energy. In addition, multi-objective programming model is built to solve the problem of the amount and type of electricity generation needed that will produce the largest number of benefits.

Abstract: Gymnastics to gain success in colleges and universities must have one of the most basic ability which is teaching ability. To the teaching ability, the evaluation is objective and correct, so that the students can get all-round development during undergraduate course, and to be able to meet the needs of the society is the difficult problem in teaching. This study adopts multi-level fuzzy evaluation method, establishes teaching ability index system and evaluation method, and hopes to provide certain theoretical basis for track and field teaching in the future.

Abstract: The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method presented in this paper is used to analyze three representative exterior wall assemblies from the perspective of manufacturers, designers, and consumers. Considering technical, economic, social, and environmental factors, a model and subsequent indicators were developed for qualitative and quantitative analyses. The approach discussed in this paper originated as a response to recent building code changes in China, and the need for value-engineers to better understand a set of newly developed wall construction assemblies in a way that minimizes subjective errors in the value-engineering evaluation process.

Abstract: A complete evaluation system of low-carbon industrial park is introduced, which is developed by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to weight analysis and by accepting experts’ advices. This evaluation system sets a low carbon industrial park evaluation index (A) as the target level and determines the factors in criterion level, state level, and indicator level, as well as system score distribution. Total score of it is 100 and the passing score is 60. With Caofeidian Industrial Park in Hebei Province for an example, this paper introduced the utilization of this evaluation system. With a total practical score of 58, this industrial park failed to pass the evaluation. By analyzing the scores of all indicators, the lack of management of greenhouse gas emissions and waste is pointed out as the main obstacles.

Abstract: The article presents the basic stages and results of the work with the decision support system in the process of risk management of bankruptcy by the example of a machine builder. Application of the suggested system allows solving four main tasks in the process of risk management of bankruptcy: selection of problem ratios; determining the bankruptcy risk level; generating and selecting alternatives for the problem ratios improvement; evaluating the economic efficiency of the chosen alternatives.

Abstract: When using cloud systems there is always a problem of data safety, data availability and a possibility of malicious acts, hampering computational processes. However, evaluating the risks of introducing cloud applications is not the only aspect influencing the decision to move enterprise applications to the cloud. The present paper suggests a model of decision support for deciding to move enterprise applications to the cloud environment based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The model allows estimating a set of enterprise IT applications and choose the applications for migration to the cloud, based on specific business requirements, technological strategy and willingness to risk.
