Abstract: Abstract. It was based on bridge anchor structure of three gorges reservoir area, from the perspective of enhancing the anti-permeability performance of mass concrete, taking into account the economic perspective, with the use of large dosage of fly ash and slag powder to replace cement to reduce the water-binder ratio and hydration heat, improve the anti-permeability performance of concrete, according to the characteristics of mass concrete. Through the test, the influence law of admixtures on impermeability of C30 mass concrete were obtained, and at the same time the better mix proportion of C30 anti-seepage mass concrete used in bridge anchor structure was recommended.

Abstract: In this paper, the responses of cavern underground reinforced by external cross-anchoring under blast loading were simulated by three-dimensional computational model made in software FLAC3D. It compared and supplementary analyzed the calculated displacement curves, the nephograms of maximum principal stress and destruction of cavern with that of model test, and analyzed the effect and mechanism of reinforced cable in this way comprehensively from deformation and destruction of surrounding rock outside, dynamic strain of cavern, energy absorption by anchor and energy consumption transferred through stress etc.

Abstract: The objective of this paper is exactly to assess the effect of anti-explosion for tunnels anchored outside under the condition of thin coating layer. To meet the similarity requirements, two groups of test models were made to simulate the responses of caverns under blast loading. It showed that: been anchored outside, displacements of the wall in caverns was decreased, so were the acceleration and compressive stresses with varying degrees, but the deformation stiffness and the overall stability were enhanced. This method does not take up space inside but it is beneficial to reduce the minimum thickness of protective layer and provides a new way to improve the anti-explosion performance for caverns under the conditions of thin coating layer.

Abstract: This paper presents the research and development of a special self-contained Inclinometer based on the requirement of offshore platform monitoring. The device records the anchors inclination completely and accurately, providing information for stress analysis of the anchor chain. Laboratory calibration, platform movement simulation experiment, and real platform testing confirmed the instrument can meet the measurement requirements. The instrument is high-precision, energy-economical, mass-storage and user-friendly. Its able to work underwater continuously for up to one year. In addition, the small size minimizes the interference caused by the carriers motion. Compared with its foreign counterparts, the new instrument is inexpensive, so its suitable for extensive multi-point measurement. Now it has been installed in LH11-1 platform in the South China Sea for measurement of anchor chain inclination. Its the first time to employ measuring device with autonomous right in offshore platform monitoring in China.

Abstract: The offshore wind turbine, especially the floating offshore wind turbine in the deep sea is a perspective technology in the context of increasing energy demands. Mooring system, as an important unit of the floating offshore wind turbine is emphasized. The methods of in-situ test and the laboratory experimental tests are reviewed. Some new testing methods are discussed. The most commonly used anchor systems are explored. The paper aims to present some future research work that is important for the development of the floating offshore wind turbine technology.

Abstract: A new kind of anchoring option is researched. The results show that the optimal scheme is feasible and effective. The main steps and programs of the static tension test are introduced. The testing and calculation methods of bond stress are introduced. Based on the actual engineering data, the research of bond stress under design tensile is proposed. A simplified model of the bond stress is established according to the experimental data. The results of checking show that bond stress distribution curve and the simplified model agree with the experiment. Maximum error is less than 7.2% and 7.0% respectively.

Abstract: Factors affecting the supporting structure in a soft soil foundation pit are analyzed in this paper. Based on the information obtained from accident investigation, design factors and construction factors, such as insufficient embedded depth of pile and insufficient anchor pullout resistance, are discussed in detail. The analysis and conclusions can serve as a good reference for similar projects design and construction.

Abstract: Here individual anchored strength of prestressed end with local area under pressure was studied, the damaged mechanism of local area under pressure was discussed. The ferrule effect of peripheral concrete upon the concrete under local pressure loading is not obvious. For prestressed concrete members, especially scattered end anchorage of prestressed concrete member, the standard formula is not applicable.

Abstract: According to the specification given, the theoretical calculation formula of the theoretical value is higher than the measured load values. Specifications given by the bureau of compressive bearing capacity formula is suitable for ordinary reinforced concrete member. For prestressed concrete members, especially scattered end anchorage of prestressed concrete member, the standard formula is not applicable.

Abstract: The demand for more flexibility in the design and strengthening of concrete structures has resulted in an increased use of anchoring systems. Adhesive anchors are widely used in seismic strengthening applications to add new structural members or sections to existing concrete members. To safely design such anchors, it is very important to know their tensile capacity under axial tensile forces. This paper explores the pullout capacity of single adhesive anchors loaded in tension in un-cracked concrete. To this end 142 single anchor tests including edge effect (located near a concrete edge) were obtained from literature. The formulated three-layered artificial neural network method (ANN) was trained using 75% of the data set by using different learning algorithms. The methods were tested with the remaining 25% of the data set. The variables taken into account in this study are anchor diameter, embedment length, concrete body height and edge distance. It was determined that experimental data can be estimated to a notably close extent via the ANN model.
