Abstract: Iodine is a world of scarce resources, and its characteristic is low yield, high price, wide uses. Production of iodine is≦800 t/a in our country, but demand of iodine is above 4000 t/a, so demand differences is big, about 80% of the iodine is importsed from countries such as Chile, Japan, turkmenistan[1]. At present iodine in our country mainly rely on extracting from kelp, but iodine yields are low, owing to limited algae production, low technology, large waste of resources and high operating cost factors, it is difficult to meet the basic requirements of iodine in our country. However, phosphate rock in our country contains considerable associated iodine, so much attention are given to development of associated iodine resources and comprehensive utilization of phosphate rock.

Abstract: In recent years, silicon carbide (SiC) and other wide band gap semiconductors have become one of the strategic commanding heights in the global high-technology field. Silicon Carbide (SiC) metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) has shown excellent electrical properties. When applying SiC MOSFET, the safe operation area (SOA) need to be considered. In this paper, the effect of circuit parameters on RBSOA of SiC MOSFET is researched. Firstly, the principle of RBSOA is introduced. Secondly, the equivalent circuit of the single-pulse test circuit is shown to study on the effect of gate resistance and gate voltage on RBSOA. Thirdly, the simulation of variable parameters are done to research the variation trend. Finally, experiments are done to verify the results which can make an important influence on safe operation of SiC MOSFET and help choose suitable circuit parameters.

Abstract: The paper describes the advantages and prospects of using the physical methods of melts processing in the production of aluminum alloys and cast aluminum matrix composites. Classification of the physical methods of the melt processing by the state of metal during the processing period and by the physical principle of the imposed effects is proposed. The influence of physical processing of melts on the structure of aluminum matrix composites depending on the type of imposed influence and the origin of the reinforcing phases is shown. The positive effect of thermo-temporal treatment on the structure of materials was confirmed on example of in-situ composites of Al-Mg2Si system, it includes reduction in the average size of endogenous reinforcing phases and changing their morphology to a more compact.

Abstract: Recent developments and applications of rheo-diecast components for transportation markets are described. The components have been produced using the SEED (Swirled Enthalpy Equilibrium Device) semi-solid process. The development process typically involves several steps, including (1) an evaluation (and modification) of the component design to ensure it is suitable for semi-solid die casting, (2) the use of flow and solidification simulation to optimize the layout of the gating system, and to ensure that the modified component design can be produced without filling turbulence and shrinkage porosity, (3) stress modeling to ensure that the redesigned component will meet performance targets, and (4) in-plant development of the optimum process parameters. This development process will be described in detail for several commercial components, including two brackets for trucking applications, and connectors used in the frame of an electric bus.

Abstract: Ship condition survey is a survey conducted by an Owner Surveyor for reporting the actual condition of the ship and parts. Presently, the condition survey is still done manually that Owner Surveyor has to survey based on survey list which is published by the ship’s owner company. The survey result will be presented in the form of a report, which will be submitted to ship’s owner as consideration for doing repair and maintenance. The survey process which done presently is not effective and many Owner Surveyors have not sufficient knowledge and experience, and also the process of presenting a survey report which takes a long time. This project was implemented by built an android-based computer application that can assist an Owner Surveyor in the process of a condition survey. This application containes of survey list, survey review, updating survey, and several menus to facilitate Owner Surveyor in the condition survey. This application has been tested by a few respondents who have experience in surveying ships and who have an educational background of naval architecture and shipbuilding engineering. This test was done in the form of a questionnaire aimed to determine the respondents assessment of this application. From the results of the questionnaire could be concluded that the application is very useful in supporting ship condition survey.

Abstract: It can increase the cement fineness, improve cement production and improve comprehensive performance of cement significantly by adding grinding aids, and promote the use of grinding aids in reducing the energy consumption of cement production, with the adjustment of national economic growth and the elimination of backward production capacity. But the effect mechanism of the grinding aids is divided, and the grinding effect of the system is still need to be improved. In this paper, the development history of cement grinding aids is introduced, and the grinding aids are summarized systematically from the aspects of the grinding mechanism and present research situation at home and abroad. Study shows that current research only stay on the level of practice, not related to the in-depth research on the theory system and theoretical model, a set of grinding efficiency of composite grinding system and the corresponding scientific theory are need to establish.

Abstract: Recent years have highly been productive in terms of development of both conventional machining technology, but in workpiece surfaces finishing, as well. The overall trend is heading towards increasing accuracy and quality of the manufactured components for machinery and equipment. In a range of finishing abrasive technologies there has been known the introduction of microcrystalline corundum, modification of tools with these abrasive grains, including sintered tools. This development continues and the latest trend is the development of pyramidal grain the Cubitron II. How individual grains behave during operation and how we can use their properties in comparison to classic white corundum still remains complicated matter. The behaviour of selected abrasives has been described in the submitted article.

Abstract: ABC Telco as the largest state owned telecommunication company in Indonesia with 16,097 employees had introduced online collaboration application to support company’s operational activities in the end of 2014. Olive is targeted to change the way of work of every employee to become more effective and efficient. Either of the number of employees who has registered or employees who have been actively using the application is still small, amounting to 12% of the total employees. In order to increase the adoption of Olive, finding factors that affect the behavior intention of ABC employee toward online collaboration applications (Olive) is needed. Based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 [1], this study proposes a new modified model toward Olive. The measurement tool which consists of 8 constructs and 39 items proposed in this study is valid and reliable. Therefore, this proposed measurement material is ready to be used in further study.

Abstract: Electromagnetic field (EMF) can promote the reaction between the Fe/Mn ion in slag and MgO-C refractories to form Mn-doped MgFe2O4 spinel. In order to further study the morphology and characteristics of Mn-doped MgFe2O4 spinel, the experiments were respectively carried out in medium-frequency induction furnace and resistance furnace. MgO-C refractories containing 6 wt.% carbon and iron-rich slag containing 53.62 wt.% Fe2O3 were used. The results show that the penetration layer in the slag line under EMF is obvious and the reduced Fe from FexO is distributed homogeneously in this layer. However in the resistance furnace having no EMF, there is not MgFe2O4 spinel but MgAl2O4 spinel formed. The iron content in Mn-doped MgFe2O4 spinels decrease dramatically from the erosion layer to penetration layer, while the manganese content in the spinel remains unchangeable.
