Abstract: Being sustainable development of construction,is an important issue which architecture design is facing. This paper will discuss aspects from importance of sustainable architectural design, sustainable building theory, design concept and method, concludes that only a balanced architecture and nature of the ecological environment relationaship, can lead to turely sustainable construction.

Abstract: With the continual development of architectural technology, larger and more complex buildings are crying out for innovative designing methods because the traditional designing methods, which are mostly based on the designers’ experience and intuition, can not keep pace with the sustainable development of modern architecture. Therefore, the designer has to adapt himself to the new architectural enviroment by improving his designing methods continuously. So based on his former experience as an architectural designer, the author of this thesis attempts to explore some innovative architectural designing methods in modern times, the basic elements and principles of architectural design, as well as the process of architectural design, hoping to offer some inspirations to future studies of architectural designing methods.

Abstract: Contemporary housing in the Republic of Serbia is significantly influenced by political and social changes, at the end of XX and the beginning of XXI century. Drastic increase of poverty, as a consequence of these changes, reflected on housing market. Reduction of apartment size, and lower construction quality were primary methods of reducing apartment cost. These cost reduction strategies induced numerous problems in the exploitation of apartments. In the last few years the attempts were made to regulate housing market by new legislation. This paper analyses compatibility of existing housing units, constructed in this period, with new Standard. The objective of the paper is to determine the extent of deviation of from new legislative in order to evaluate the need for the reconstruction as well as for potential correction of the Standard.

Abstract: Daylight analysis as a tool for energy efficiency enhancement in existing buildings is considered in this paper. Through the analysis of five types of exterior static shading devices, horizontal, as well as, vertical, the guidelines for their designing, implementation and possibilities in using of building repairing are given. Also, methods for evaluation of their impact on distribution of daily illumination, viewpoint towards the environment and thermal comfort in general are presented. In the case study, the building of Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in Podgorica, Montenegro, and sophisticated software tools that enable impact analysis and precise designing of exterior static shading devices are considered. The results are presented through the examples.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the significance of building design from the architectural design and urban relations, architecture and cultural relations, architecture and human relations. The residential building design idea of western area is put forward which reflects the comfort, rationality and unity. According to the Western climate conditions, design of multi-storey residential building must be consistent with the western people's living habits as the basis, to meet the different needs of people living in Western regions.

Abstract: Architectural programming provides the basis of architectural design, and provides a framework to guide the whole construction process, results and quality control of the project, the construction activities towards our default direction. Architecture programming plays a very important role in the control of the whole design process and design quality.

Abstract: Since the national economics has developed rapidly, construction systems of the commercial complex has gradually been established towards the right track and obtained great achievements. On one hand, the constructions and “achievement projects” are in need of commercial complex innovation, on the other hand, there are always such needs in urban construction activities, resources distributions and the quality of life. In the essay, the author analyses how to make a good design with the development of some aspects: design conception, general structure and functional layout. It means to present some references for the commercial complex designs in the future.

Abstract: The past period of history, when engineers create design documents standing at drawing board and armed with a pencil, going farther and farther away from us. Less and less used programs allow you to create only 2D-models. In the leading design companies it's time to BIM - the era of parametric modeling. The article provides a definition of BIM, considered the advantages and disadvantages of BIM, identified the main categories of BIM-technology users.

Abstract: The argumentation of previous studies demonstrated the historical evolution of the materials in architecture and the position of the materials in the design process. The purpose is to recognize the role of materials in architectural design, and the materials are a core element of the design process. This paper is about the way materials can be used to create personality and character of the design. The research finds two overlapping roles for materials which are providing technical functionality and building personality. Thus building materials were one of the major factors for new innovation forms through the history of architecture. Abstract: It is discussed in the article of the characteristics of zinc plates and attention points during application. Examples are shown to explain in detail the expression of zinc plate in the architectural surface design. Corresponding improvement suggestions are given for application of zinc plate in architectural design.
