Abstract: A subsurface magazine has an explosive storage chamber, a horizontal passageway, and a vertical shaft for vent. It was proposed and legislated in Japan. The authors found that small amount of water on the floor of its storage chamber mitigated the blast pressure remarkably. The mechanism of the mitigation has been studied, however, it is not still well understood. In this study, the explosion in a transparent, square cross section, and straight tube was carried out to examine the mechanism of blast-wave mitigation by water. The arrangement and amount of water in the tube were varied for five ways. The dependence of mitigation effect on the arrangement and amount of water was evaluated by measuring the blast pressures in the tube and outside the tube. The results of this study concluded that the mitigation of blast wave by water is mainly due to the interaction between the explosion and the water very near the explosion point. On the contrary, the water at other part of the tube was found to strengthen the blast pressure.

Abstract: Large-scale coordinate measurement frequently involves unifying coordinate frames of individual measurement systems by aligning two sets of common reference points, which is called coordinate transformation. During this transformation process, some uncertainty is introduced into the final measurement results from common points. This paper studies the relationship between this introduced uncertainty and common points in order to minimize it. First, an uncertainty estimation model of coordinate transformation is developed to quantify the introduced uncertainty. Then the relationship between the introduced uncertainty and the arrangement of the common points is simulationally and experimentally investigated and some feasible and efficient arrangements are proposed in view of minimizing it.

Abstract: In order to break through the bottleneck of solar photovoltaic power generation, and off-season vegetables problems in Hainan island, we arrange photovoltaic panels above farm land to generate electricity. By novel and ingenious arrangement on panels, we can make farmland temperature distribution more uniform, decrease temperature differences between shading and lighting area significantly, also reduce wind resistance significantly. The influence of solar panel shading on Chinese cabbage was detected by photosynthetic measurement instrument LI-6400. The system was suitable for general farmers to implement in hot climate areas. By using this system, famers can produce cops and electricity at the same time, sell extra electricity, and get double income.

Abstract: Aiming at the current situation of anchor bolt and cable arrangement in mine roadway support, the paper analysis the mechanical characteristics and mechanism of bolts and cables, and numerical simulation method is used to comparison and analysis of pre-tension distribution characteristics under different anchor bolt-cable arrangement. The research indicated that separate anchor bolt-cable layout in different sections, anchor bolt and cable force stable equilibrium, coordinate with each other, at this time roadway surrounding rock of shallow and deep pretension distribution more reasonable, can play a role of bolt anchor cable synergistic action, and form the best pre-tension load-bearing structure, which is helpful to keep the stability of coal roadway.

Abstract: With the rapid development of world economy, the energy crisis has become one of the urgent problems to be solved. Photovoltaic technology is a green new energy industry, no pollution is widely used all over the world. Typically, for photovoltaic component installation, only considering the utilization of components support cost and area, and the arrangement of components have not given enough attention. Photovoltaic module in use process will inevitably encounter the shadow, the shadow changes to make appropriate adjustments to the PV module arrangement can enhance the power generation capacity. Effect of the shadow on the photovoltaic system performance can be effectively used for photovoltaic component to bring help, is of positive significance. This study analyzed the villa model typical, and the rectangular shadow is modeling, in order to analyze the influence on the photovoltaic component. Through the conclusion of this study can determine the horizontal and vertical components of photovoltaic components which caused little damage, and provide a reference for future research of shadow and photovoltaic system performance.

Abstract: Based on Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA), this paper studies the influence of fans arrangement to offshore platform noise, analyses the noise distributions of typical offshore platform areas when the inlet fans are arranged in the Main Engine Room and out of it. On this basis, with the aim of optimal noise in platform, this paper carries out optimal design of the fan arrangement and shows it. The study shows that: the noise influence of inlet and exhaust fans arrangement to Main engine room is relatively small. But it is relatively large to the Public area and the Living area around the Main Engine Room. From the view of platform noise control, the inlet and exhaust fans should be arranged in the Main Engine Room.

Abstract: The excellent thermal hydraulic performances of coolers are the foundations of vehicular safety and stability. Structure, material, fin type and arrangement all have important effects on the thermal hydraulic performances. Numerical simulation method was adopted in this paper to investigate the effect of fin arrangement. The fluid flow and heat transfer performances were contrasted and analyzed under two different fin arrangements. It was found that fin arrangement effected thermal hydraulic performances severely and during the design process of a cooler, the performance requirements could be met through adjusting fin arrangements.

Abstract: This paper reports a new capacitive triaxial micro-accelerometer which consists of four identical dual beam-mass structure. Considering the temperature characteristic, beam consistency and zero bias and other factors of the accelerometer, the arrangement and anchor position, as well as matching capacitor are studied using ANSYS software to complete the design of the overall structure of the accelerometer. The research methed having been uesd is significant for optimizing structure of the micro-accelerometer.
