Abstract: Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been widely studied for their unique size-dependent electrical, mechanical, and chemical properties. However, CNTs need to be precisely positioned in complex device structures. Dielectrophoresis (DEP) is an effective and practical method for precise assembly of CNTs. In this paper, the researches on simulation of precise positioning of CNTs by DEP are reviewed. Single electrode pairs include those with round, triangle, and rectangular tip shapes and electrode arrays such as comb electrodes are also taken accounted. The moving trajectories of CNTs during DEP from the selected literature are introduced. The effect of floating electrodes on precise manipulation of CNTs is examined as well.

Abstract: Very complicated as the cycloid wheel movement appears, tridimensional software Solid Works is applied to outer planetary cycloid wheel parts modeling and dynamic simulation with the outcome meeting the prospective design requirements. Therefore, we conclude that tridimensional modeling will be applicable for mechanical designing with great significance. In response to increasingly complicated product designing, the roles of the tridimensional modeling approach will be brought into fuller play. In pin-cycloid gearing, due to the specially curved and differential gear surface, the gearing accuracy and service life of the pin-cycloid are both affected. To get a smooth solution to the problem of the tridimensional surface shaping, priority shall be given to precise drawing of the gears profile curve [.

Abstract: The rail fastener assemblies under alternating load for a long time , in addition to the vibration and strength,fatigue also is the main reason for damage .So effective fatigue test and life assessment is one of the important means to ensure the safety of railway operation .This paper introduces the routine fatigue test method of railway track fastener assembly which adopts the European Railway Standard EN13146-4,by using 33° test platform which conform to the actual operation stress conditions of the railway track can more effective test the rail fastening assembly.

Abstract: In the process of carbon nanotube assembly by dielectrophoresis, the geometry and spacing of electrodes are significantly affecting the assembly precision. In the simulation process, we showed the geometrical shape of conical, round and rectangular electrode and compared the electric field distribution with these electrodes. Compared with single electrode pairs, comb electrodes can achieve high-yield manipulation. Simulation results show that when the distance between adjacent electrode pairs is larger than twice electrode width, it will avoid electric field superimposition. A method of using floating metal posts within the electrode gap can realize precise positioning of assembled carbon nanotubes.

Abstract: Taking the example of precise gasket blanking die, the author introduces that the key of compound die assembly is adjusting the gap between moulds which directly influences the quality of products and the dies lifetime. When assembling, one must assure the uniformity of the gap between the terrace and sunken die.

Abstract: A bottleneck problem in mechanical productions design is presented in this paper. The fundamental conceptions and problems of relation design should be resolved at present. A method of relation design, which using mate relation constraint and align relation constraint and dimensions equation relation constraint, is putted forward. This way is implemented to mechanical productions relation design.

This paper, presents a new method of analysis, planning and consequently obtaining a reliable tool for supervising technological process of assembling for an expandable slide valve.
