Abstract: Water safety early warning is an essential and important basis for sustainable rural safe drinking water projects management and running. in this paper, we firstly analyzed the major influencing factors to water safety early warning. Secondly we establish a water supply safety early-warning assessment index system, and give classification standards for water supply safety early-warning assessment. Further, with the fuzzy assessment theory we propose a fuzzy warning assessment model approach. Finally the model and methods are used in Qingdao, and obtained t the rural water safety early-alarm level is ‘middle warning’.

Abstract: Butterfly Lake provides an important function of ecological environment and campus service for Guangdong Ocean University. Based on the data which were collected in March,May, September and December in 2013, the water environment quality of Butterfly Lake was assessed. The results show that the key pollutant of Butterfly Lake is total phosphorus (TP). The average concentration of TP is worse than the national quality standards for Class V. The water quality appears an obvious difference in different monitoring time. In September the water quality is the best. The average of single parameter pollution index (Sj) is 0.75 and the water quality belongs to good environment area. The average of integrated parameter pollution index (WQI) is 1.76 and the water quality belongs to light pollution area. In December the water quality is the worst. Sj and WQI is 1.14 and 3.14. The water quality belongs to light pollution area and moderate pollution area, respectively. The comprehensive trophic state index is 70.38 in December. The eutrophication level is hyper eutropher. The other monitoring time belongs to middle eutropher. In order to improve the water quality of Butterfly Lake, the valid measure is to strengthen the management of wastewater discharge from the laboratory and the dormitory.

Abstract: In the context of low-carbon economy, this paper analyzes the necessity of technical transformation of the loss reduction in power networks. A low-energy-consumption benefit evaluation model was established for some technical transformation projects for loss reduction, so was a low-emission benefit evaluation model for loss reduction measures. Through field survey and statistical computation, the CO2 emission reduction potential of a selected power supply company, by adopting technical transformation for loss reduction, was comprehensively assessed. On this basis, the optimization of low-carbon technical transformations for loss reduction in plan and construction, operation and maintenance, and management and administration was put forward, in order to realize the mentioned CO2 emission reduction potential of the company.

Abstract: We investigated soil physiochemical properties and heavy metal contamination characteristics in steel and chemical sites, aimed to provide theoretical basis for future site remediation. Results indicated that: soils in both sites showed sandy and alkaline trend. Soil total phosphorus, total potassium, and available nitrogen content in steel site, and total and available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content in chemical site were lower than that in farmland soil. Soil lead and zinc contamination in steel site and soil arsenic contamination in chemical site should be given priority in remediation. In addition, cadmium and arsenic risk in steel site and mercury risk in chemical site should also be paid sufficient attention.

Abstract: The article gives a short target analysis of efficiency assessment as applied to casting techniques. Basic principles of efficiency assessment are defined. Efficiency criteria are proposed to optimize and quantify the efficiency of various prospective and existing foundry technologies. Functional, energy and resource criteria are selected as prime criteria. However, as shown in the article, energy criteria are the most common for comparison and assessment of manufacturing practices. The article reflects the fact that consumption of electrical, mechanical and other kinds of energy in socially-relevant production may be highlighted as an important indicator of technification in modern society development. The study leads us to the conclusion that the most common indicator of technification of any kind (social, informational, manufacturing, etc) is the efficient use of social time.

Abstract: A brief analysis of the approaches to the evaluation of foundry technologies’ resource efficiency is presented. It is revealed that when evaluating resource efficiency researchers apply different criteria which do not allow them, on the one hand, to more objectively estimate the parameters and, on the other hand, to relate and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each of the assessment techniques. Representatives of one of the approaches to resource efficiency evaluation focus on determining the technological side, while representatives of the other approach emphasize the priority of the technological and economic aspects. Taking the example of analysing the problems of the technology of casting by gasified models, it has been demonstrated that the evaluation of resource efficiency cannot be unambiguous. Constant monitoring of the process is required. The authors come to conclusion that it is the method of expert evaluation that allows being more flexible in the evaluation of the resource efficiency of foundry technologies. The result of the conducted methodological assessment is the developed formula for estimating the resource efficiency of foundry technologies.

Abstract: Automatic analysis of malware is a hot topic in recent years. While many methods were proposed it was still a challenge for automatic identification of malware. For example, scoring was commonly used to indicate threat scale of samples, but this metric was given by manual processing in most case. In this paper, a method to automatically generate the score of analyzed sample was proposed. Combine this method and practical problem, we tested up to 639 samples and got a correctness of 97.3%. Experimental result showed that this method could correctly indicate the threat scale of samples. The results of this paper can also offer some tips for manual analysis.

Abstract: The idea of enhancing the growing of tourism through information system has existed in the early years and it was also emphasized in the 12th five-year plan. After the experience of three phases of information technology development, China’s online tourism business is constantly improving with the establishment of a multifunctional online tourist industry system. However, information technology is updating and surpassing with each day when tourism is developing. The special nature of the relationship between supply and demand in tourist industry makes information exchange play a significant role in the running of the industry. Thus, the application of information technology not only exerts great impact on the transaction and relationship between supply and demand, but also makes the entire industry transform a lot. Tourist industry makes enormous progress in value transmission, message transmission and e-commerce by applying information technology that activates the industry effectively. Thus, information system is tremendously important in data analysis and assessment of tourism industry chains.

Abstract: By investigating and examining one 40 years old girder arch bridge, this paper gets the current situation of the bridge. On account of these data, the reliability analysis and safety evaluation have been done, the reliability index was calculated, the dynamic reliability of the bridge was analyzed, and the disciplinarian of bearing capacity change with the deck pavement thickness and vehicle load level increasing was discuss. Moreover, the treatment project and strengthening measures was put forward.

Abstract: The 12th C. Modena Cathedral is a masterpiece testimony of early Romanesque architecture, artand civic values of the time. Following the inclusion in the UNESCO list in 1997, studies, surveysand maintenance works have started. The Emilia’s seismic events of May 2012 have happenedwhen the maintenance operations were already in an advanced phase. The quakes caused damageand re-opening of some historical cracks, in particular in the thin vaults of the naves, near thefaçade and at the junction between naves and choir and crypt. Fragments of brick, mortar from thejoints between bricks and even limited portions of a diagonal rib have fallen to the ground. In viewof seismic assessment and strengthening for improvement of the structural behaviour, detailedstudies of the vaults’ mortar became necessary. The investigation approach was minimal andpreservative, combining on-site close-up visual inspections and micro-destructive testing of themortar joints by mortar penetrometer. For this purpose, openings of 0.25x0.25 m2 in the renderlayer of the 23 vaults were created. The outcome has allowed differentiating between repair mortarsof different strength, used in different historic periods. The mortar resistance was very low butdifferent for lime mortar and gypsum. Values, divided in 3 classes of strength, were found tocorrelate well with the location and severity of the crack pattern and damage map in the vaults. Theresults were useful for a correct design (minimal and reversible) of the cathedral strengtheningintervention.
