Abstract: Mechanized arc welding is divided into two main varieties: with self-regulation of the electrode melting process and with automatic process control. The common thing between self-regulating mechanized arc welding and manual arc welding is that in the welding equipment there are no means for automatic control with feedback from the arc. The difference between them is that stabilization of the electrode melting process in mechanized welding is carried out by the source itself, which has a particular volt-ampere characteristic (CVC), by a corresponding spontaneous reaction to a change in the situation in the arc. This method is significantly inferior to the method with automatic process control in precisely maintaining the specified parameters and has a limitation on the minimum current density on the electrode. The method of pulse self-regulation of the electrode melting process proposed in the E.O.Paton EWI removes this problem. However, it requires the use of power sources with a complicated, multi-link CVC curve. Further improvement is revealed through the use of digital controlled, programmable power supplies that have an automatically generated CVC. The combination of automatic source control and self-regulation by the spontaneous reaction to the situation in the arc creates a new hybrid way to stabilize the process of arc welding with a consumable electrode and other related arc processes (surfacing, soldering, re-melting).

Abstract: Segmentation of blood vessels in the retinal is a crucial step in the diagnosis of eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. This paper presents a supervised method for automatic segmentation of blood vessels in retinal images. The proposed method based on a hybrid combination between Gray-Level and Moment Invariant techniques. There are four steps involved, whereas preprocessing, feature extraction, classification, and post-processing. In the preprocessing, three stages are performed include vessel central light reflex removal, background homogenization, and vessel enhancement. The 7-D vector feature extraction was performed to compute that compose of gray-level and moment invariants-based features for pixel representation. The decision tree is used for classification step that characterized the pixel based on vessels and non-vessels. The final step is the post-processing which will remove the small artifacts appears after classification process. The proposed method was compared to the Vascular Tree method and Morphological method. Based on the objective evaluation, the proposed method achieved (sensitivity = 98.589, specificity = 55.544 and accuracy = 96.197).

Abstract: A new welding technique has been developed for manufacturing large aluminum chambers for an ultra-high vacuum (UHV) system. Combined with appropriate manufacturing processes, the aluminum chambers have an oil-free interior surface finished for an ultra-high vacuum environment before aluminum welding. An automatic welding system, which comprises six welding torches to implement simultaneously two longitudinal side welds of the asymmetric chamber, is introduced. In traditional manual welding, the key success factors focus on elimination as much as possible the distortions of structural assemblies. The six-torch welding and a clamp-free approach together address the issue of reducing distortion and minimizing residual stresses with a novel one-step welding process. From the beginning of CNC machining to the end of vacuum component assembly, deformations through all process sequences are measured and controlled under 0.35 mm. In this paper, both the manufacturing sequences and statistical analysis of deformation control are presented in detail.

Abstract: An improved rain detection system has been developed using a marine radar. The rain detection system is composed of a Furuno 1932 Mark II marine radar (radar scanner and display units), a radar control circuit, a signal conditioning circuit, an analog to digital converter (ADC), and a computer with a graphical user interface (GUI). The combination of the microcontroller and optocoupler in the radar control circuit was able to replace the omnipad and pushbutton control and it was also employed to activate the radar and the sector blanket mode. The signal conditioning circuit along with the ADC and the clutter removal made the video and navigation signals from the display unit become ADC-counted rain data. By comparing the ADC-counted rain data of the Furuno marine radar with the reflectivity obtained by GMR X Band weather radar, it was found that the Furuno rain detection sensitivity only spans from 30-55 dBZ.

Abstract: Nowadays, the car is cheaper than the former. As a result, consumers are increase buying new cars. It make the car parking service is experiencing problems about car information management. One problem is car theft. Because of driver can drive his car into and out of the parking is use only a car parking card for authentication. From the reasons discussed above, the car thief can occur. If owner of car leaving his car and forget parking card in his car or parking card was stolen. Car thieves were able to drive the car out of the parking is easy. This paper presents the concept and how to solve such problems. By apply of NFC technology on android phones and public key cryptography algorithm for use to open the gate of car parking automatically. The user must get the digital ticket from android application using his username and password and then drive his car into the car parking and touch his android phone on the NFC podium if authentic the gate will be open.

Abstract: set of shell is an important process on lithium battery production line. Research is applicable to automatic set of lithium battery shell of an organization, the installed baffle set into the very core of battery shell, do not harm the very core, set into the very core of the exposed aluminum shell of the same length. This article put forward from the aspects of kinematics and dynamics of multiple optimization objectives, work in a given space and a variety of constraint conditions, with the aid of the NSGA - II algorithm to complete set of shell machine structure parameters optimization, experiments show that the casing precision of the equipment, set of shell and the percent of pass is up to 99 above, has a certain practical significance.

Abstract: The automatic spraying equipment for tubular parts is used for spraying the tubular parts, especially the ones with the lengths from 1 meter to 15 meters and the diameters from 3 millimeters to 20 millimeters. The whole equipment includes frame, drive unit, fixture, anti-bending device, spray gun, protective cover and so on. During the spraying process, the tubular part will rotate and move forward, to make it get uniform surface coating. The equipment is installed with the anti-bending device, to prevent the tubular part from bending and shaking. The spraying process is controlled by the control system, which makes the automatic spraying come true.
