Abstract: The QT interval on the electrocardiogram (ECG) signal is known to have an important role in monitoring heart’s electrical activity because the presence of QT interval prolongation can be associated with life-threatening cardiac events. This interval can be identified and measured using either manual or automated techniques. Currently, studies on automated QT interval measurement algorithms are becoming a growing field, as they can provide the best solution to overcome misdiagnosis and timely issues resulting from manual identification. However, the physiological variability of the QRS complex and the fluctuation of the isoelectric line are prevalent issues that need to be considered in the automatic method. In this report, an algorithm to identify the QRS onset and T-wave offset for measuring the corrected QT interval (QTc) is proposed. This method uses an improved Pan-Tompkins algorithm from the previous work with independent of the isoelectric line approach for detecting the QRS onset and the T offset. The algorithm was implemented in Matlab and applied to the 60 seconds duration of 27 records in the PPUKM database with a sampling frequency of 500 Hz. The performance of the algorithm achieved a sensitivity of 100% for QRS onset detection and 100% for T offset detection. As for the accuracy, the algorithm’s performance obtained 100% for QRS onset detection and 99.56% for T offset detection. The mean error results with respect to manual annotation were 37±18.5 ms for QRS onset detection and 32±22.3 ms for T offset detection which was within ANSI/AAMI-EC57:1998 standard tolerance. The proposed algorithm exhibits reliable automated QTc measurement. Besides insensitive to morphological variations of ECG waves, the computational method is simple and possibly implemented as the basis for future software development for portable device applications.

Abstract: This paper introduce the thought of USB interface application, an automatic measurement system is as an example. The PC control system of automatic measurement by the Labview software programming, then control relay, and control the work state of the HP3. It shows that the design of USB interface application system is realized by using labview programming easy and high efficiency.

Abstract: Studied on the approach to design digital meter for monitoring technical state of armored vehicle engine through digital measurement of engine speed, oil temperature and cooling water temperature, etc. Used a chip microcomputer to collect, calculate, store and manage all the data automatically, used CAN bus to realize data communication between the chip microcomputer and a main controller and used a two-stage anti-jamming measure to improve electromagnetic compatibility. Developed a digital termination to display and monitor these engine parameters. Such a digital monitoring system gives a technical support for automatic measurement and monitoring as well as information development of armored equipment.

Abstract: In general, when using the three-dimensional measuring machine to test a workpiece, the measuring route should to be planned firstly. Regarding workpieces which are formed by elementary curve or surface, there are specific software installed in the Coordinate Measuring Machine which can be used to generate the measuring route. However, when there are workpieces with no mathematic model, measuring process usually has to be done by manual operation. In this paper, we concentrate on the technical problem of measuring the blade with complex surface. After analyzing the geometric characteristics of blade, we did research on the self-study function of the Coordinate Measuring Machine, and finally put forward a method to rewrite the self-study measuring program according to geometric characteristics, which will successfully realize the automatic measurement of complex curved surface.

Abstract: Along with the fast development of high-technology fields in China, especially in aviation and aerospace, in order to meet the fast and accurate detection requirements of various magnetic material properties, to solve artificial measurement error and low efficiency on the current manual measuring way, a kind of automatic magnetic balance system was developed. The mechanism design, measurement & control system design and the main technical indicators were also described. The application results show that the automatic magnetic balance system can work stable and reliable, and the test capacity of the system is effectively expanded because of higher precision, higher measuring efficiency and more convenient operation, so the system can satisfy the testing requirements in the process such as scientific research, manufacture, teaching and etc.

Abstract: A novel Sagittarius automatic Pulsed I-V measurement system was developed. This new system eliminated the self-heating effect which affected static measurements of High Power MOSFETs using conventional methods. It provided the true output conductance and trans-conductance, solved the device modeling problems caused by negative output conductance of high power devices. The automation measurement function can fulfill the mass measurement requirements of semiconductor industry with high efficiency and accuracy.

Abstract: To address the problems of low efficiency, high cost and low automatic level existing in traditional laser tracking measurement systems, a laser tracking-vision guiding measurement system for large-scale parts assembly is introduced in this paper. The system is composed of mono-camera and a laser tracker, can fulfill real-time tracking and automatic measurement throughout the whole assembly process. A global calibration method based on public planes and a method for finding the 3D positions of the target reflectors based on monocular vision measuring are expounded. Mathematical model is established, measurement system is built, and the experiment is accomplished. The experiment result indicates that the proposed system features relative high degree of automation and high measuring speed, has future in practical application.

Abstract: This paper researches DC high voltage ratios measurement method, which based on two-digital meters with external synchronous trigger mode. Through experiment, the measurement method can overcome the effect of high voltage power supply ripple and drift. The type A uncertainty of this method could decrease more than 10-100 times.

Abstract: This paper researches synchronous measurement system with digital meters Agilent 3458A based on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. In this system, two digital meters connect to PC by USB/GPIB bus and arbitrary waveform generator 33220A provides external trigger signal to the digital meters. Based on these, we have developed the synchronous measurement software, which can facilitate the realization of automatic measurement and improve measurement efficiency. The measurement method can overcome effect of high voltage power supply ripple and drift as well as decrease type A uncertainty more than 100 times especially in the measurement of voltage divider ratio.

Abstract: Milk yield automatic measurement in dairy farms plays a very important role in modern production management. Then, the measurement bottle scale and the reading recognition are key steps. So, this paper presents a new effective recognition algorithm on a printed numeric character of milk measurement bottle. The algorithm uses character image Euler number, the structural shape of printed numeric character, and vertical threading of character to accomplish the cascade classification. The method for character image does not need to be complex refining process, and has come up with a new algorithm of feature extraction from image sunken area. It reduces the complexity of the algorithm, the error recognition and rejection caused by thinning deformation. It greatly improves production efficiency and economic benefits. The experiment proves that the method is effective.
