Abstract: People create function of product, and also give it a certain form at the same time. It expresses a certain structure depending on the material. The process of product design is that of understanding and application of materials, and also a process of creation and innovation. So materials have important effects on product design and manufacturing. This paper discusses the application of the traditional materials in product design and its development trend, and mainly discusses the application of nanomaterials in automobile design.

Abstract: Modern automobile design technology often employed finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics, which are computational expense and highly time cost and need to employ approximation techniques. We herein study a Chebyshev Polynomial Model-based approximation technique, and employ it for predictive design. Firstly, we investigated the multi-valuable function prediction on the model precision. We also employed cross-validation as error analysis method. The computational results from expensive optimization of CEC 2014 tested our predictive methods. The experimental results showed that the proposed method is suitable for solving the low dimensional function prediction problems.

Abstract: A interactive and virtual platform of car’s exhibition ,which meets the future consumer’s individual demands and promotes user experience in the environment of electronic commerce,is proposed.And we continuously expand our work based that had finished,propose a platform framework of car’s virtual exhibition and individual customization system based on Internet.

Abstract: This paper made a study on automobile modeling design by taking two factors, aerodynamics and family characteristic, from many considerations, with an example of BMW 3 series. It analyzed the significant roles of these two factors’ influence on automobile modeling, and studied regular pattern of its evolution by taking a successful experience in automobile family characteristic in modeling. This paper is expected to provide assistance and instructions for automobile industry in China.

Abstract: Automobile design evaluation is the concrete application of the existing evaluation methods in the automobile design area to obtain concrete conclusions. This paper through the study of eye tracking technology and product design evaluation, then use examples to analyze and demonstrate the application of eye tracking in the automobile design evaluation, in order to summarize a product design evaluation process.

Abstract: Because consider aerodynamics and make its modelling tends to streamline in the car design, this article mainly describes streamline design for product create better use of convenience for the product brings outside the modelling and mental and emotional intangible value, this also is industrial design create products value-added effective means recently, Ultimately this article give some suggestions to designers to put forward some reasonable use of streamline design.
