Abstract: In BOM product matching, there will be several product solutions based on the matching mechanism owing to the fuzziness and diversity of the customers needs. To select the optimal BOM through the matching process, a quantization method, which evaluates the product solutions according to customers intuitive estimate, is proposed. Customers needs are consisted by many parameters, and each parameter has several values. First, initialize the satisfaction level of every parameter value in the requirements through customers intuitive assessment. Second, as to a parameter, get the difference of satisfaction level of each parameter value by pairwise comparison. Third, revise the satisfaction level by the difference got by the second step. Other parameters are processed by the same method. Then, the satisfaction level of product BOM is calculated by the weighted average of the satisfaction levels of its constituent parameters. In this way, the BOM that best meets the customers requirements can be found out. The feasibility of the method is finally verified through an empirical study. This method can also be used in some other situations that contain fuzzy concept quantization.

Abstract: This paper proposes a product module division method based on BOM and degree of modularity. First, based on BOM, the product structure tree is formed by taking spare parts as nodes, and the incidence matrix and correlation diagram are obtained by analyzing a variety of correlation of the nodes. Then, it proposes the definition of the degree of modularity, minimum value and mean value of the optimal degree of modularity are selected to determine the division of the modules. Finally, the working unit of the wheel loader are taken as an example to describe the reasonableness and effectiveness of this method.

Abstract: According to the process feature of Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Enterprises,a PDM system for Small-medium Scale Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Enterprises was designed .The system includes many functions such as document management,project management,BOM management,changement management, user’s permissions management.The integration with CAX,ERP,etc.were also considered in the system.The key techniques and conditions in software to realize the functions were explained.The system avoids information isolated between workshops and sections, improves the sharing and Integrality of enterprise’s information.It is useful for management and controlling of Pressure Vessel process and product quality.

Abstract: Single-piece-small-batches are typical in electric cabinet company. It results in huge BOM (bill of material) data. The article analyzes the product processes in electric cabinet company and presents BOM architecture. It is consist of design BOM, parameter BOM, manufacturing BOM, purchasing BOM and cost BOM, which simplifies BOM management and storage. BOM is denoted as weight number tree. Tuples are put forward to express the tree and the structure is converted to relational database storage. It is applied to express node query and checksum algorithms with structure query language, which proves the tuples maintainability. On this basis, BOM management system is established. Enterprise applications show that a feasible plan for electric cabinet company BOM management is presented.

Abstract: This paper summarizes and analyzes several construction methods of a list of common materials, proposes a new type of path-based BOM construction methods, improve BOM arithmetic to achieve BOM traversal algorithm. The BOM structure and its traversal algorithm are applied to data management platform of heavy-duty machine tool, which improve the operational efficiency of data management platform.

Abstract: Organizing production on orders is one important mode for small and medium corporations. In this mode, logistics and purchase are to be progressed on sale orders. To satisfy production demands of specific sale orders for zero stock is the goal of logistics and purchase. In this paper, the logistics & purchase procedure under order-driven is analyzed, with its integrated workflow model being built. The information model of logistics & purchase operation flow is designed in detail with UML method. The solution to main operation issues of logistics & purchase procedure management is discussed, with the system program hierarchy presented. This system has been implemented in an electric equipment enterprise and a distinct achievement is realized.
