Abstract: Most prosperous companies understand marketing activity, not as separate function but as a philosophy to be endorsed by the entire organization. The marketing department is responsible to identify the categories of consumers and the needs that the company can meet profitably, as well as how to achieve this goal, compared to those performed competition. Identifying appropriate benefits is very important for the future success of the project. If an expert system solves a problem whose losses are already known, it is easy to estimate the value of future benefits.Costs and benefits must be justified for lifelong expert system. The cost is justified for each phase of development. The benefits provided are studying, face to face with costs at every stage.

Abstract: Due to environmental pollution form cement industries, some efforts for alternative construction material are increasing. Recently, geopolymer concrete has drawn attention of researchers and engineers because of its lower carbon print and better mechanical property over Portland cement concrete. According to previous studies, geopolymer concrete results almost up to 90% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emission to atmosphere. Mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete such as compressive strength, durability, sulfate resistance, early strength and low shrinkage are better than Portland cement concrete. In addition, the appropriate usage of one ton of fly ash earns one carbon-credit redemption value of about 20 Euros, and hence earned monetary benefits through carbon-credit trade. Therefore, this paper presents a review on the fly ash-based geopolymer concrete. The paper mainly covers composition, mixing and curing process, benefits, limitations and applications of alkali activated fly ash based geopolymer concrete.

Abstract: Based on previous studies, prefabricated building usage motivations in the construction sector differ over time and vary from country to country. To adopt this technology, awareness on current trends and the latest innovations should be increased by reviewing previous studies. The objective of this study is to conduct a revision of common motivations and limitations of prefabricated building in the construction industry taking into consideration the experience gained and reported by several countries. Results show that the adaptation of prefabricated building mainly depends on factors such as labor shortage, labor cost, housing demand, building process efficiency, weather, as well as reduction of waste material and energy consumption. Prefabricated building has a relatively low uptake in construction industries worldwide despite its inherent economic, environmental, and social benefits.

Abstract: Ecological compensation is being applied to deal with transboundary external effects caused by water resources conservation or exploitation in China. A concept of water resources co-conservation and sharing was applied to burden the upstream conservation cost and to share the benefit in the whole river basin. Xin’an River Basin, related to two provinces in East China, was taken as the study area. The current territorial scales of the co-conservation area and the benefit sharing area were determined. The total actual water conservation cost for Xin’an River Basin was estimated to be about 488 million CNY in 2006. By analyzing the transformation of protection costs and benefits between different districts and sections, benefits brought by water to different beneficiaries were also estimated. The conservation cost was distributed to the water users or governments in the whole sharing area according to the proportion of shared benefits.

Abstract: In today's world, lean management thinking has been applied in many different industries, especially in manufacturing, setting off a wave of lean thinking transformation and achieving a significant effect, but it seldom used in the service sector. The power industry is the basic industry of the people's livelihood, with the expansion of the electricity market and the deepening of the power system revolution, the monopoly of the power industry is gradually being broken, the competition between power companies becomes more and more intense, so the original management model has been unable to adapt to market’s changes and demands, hence it is the urgent affair to adopt a new scientific management model. This paper will apply lean management thinking into the power projects, and study the actual benefits which lean management model brings to the enterprise.

Abstract: Public transportation structure optimization makes the contribution to the national economy and also pays the price for it. We established national economic evaluation model about urban public transportation structure optimization using mutually exclusive combination schemes. The research can give effective guidance on the optimal decision for combination schemes of different transportation structure.
