Abstract: To solve the problem which current research of RTCP function is limited to high-grade CNC system. Based on limited computational resources of the embedded CNC system, analyzes and modeling calculates RTCP function of CA double swing structure, and points out the offset distance is only related to the chord length corresponding to the arc length that the rotating radius crosses, and obtains the calculation formula of compensation. Finally, gives the implementing flow chart of the RTCP algorithm for low-cost embedded CNC system.

Abstract: The feed drive system is important functional components which effects on precision and efficiency of transmission and cost of CNC milling machine tools. So the designe of the feed drive system of economical CNC milling machine tool is researched. Firtsly the general design scheme which includes the transmission scheme and basic parameters of CNC milling machine tool is determined. Then according to the milling force calculated during mill processing, linear rolling guide, ball screw and stepping motor of X axis and Y axis of feed drive system are respectively calculated, selected and checked in detail. Using the Solid works software for 3D modeling and assembly of mechanical parts of feed drive system, By the scheme comparison, selecting the CNC system of Huazhong century star HNC-21 and accomplishing the electrical connection of CNC system.The feed drive system of economical CNC milling machine in the desing is high performance and low cost,and meet accuracy requirement.

Abstract: The article briefly deals with a algorithm of adaptive interpolation for NURBS curve which NURBS curve reache any point, while, the feed rate can keep costant as during the whole interpolation process. The interpolation of NURBS curve should be finished. The simulation results show that the algorithm is correct; it is consistent with a NURBS curve interpolation requirements.

Abstract: Based on cubic B-Spline curve mathematical properties, theoretical analysis the cubic B-Spline curve recursive formula of Taylor development of first-order, derivation of two order in the interpolation cycle under the condition of certain interpolation increment only and interpolation speed, change the interpolation increments can be amended cubic times B-Spline curves purpose The simulation results show that meet the high-speed and high-accuracy NC machine tool require-ments of CNC systems.

Abstract: Aimed at the goal of improving the quality and the efficiency of welding for T-type welding seam, This paper put forward a method to track the seam by using the vision sensor. Machine tool main motion trajectory is generated from the numerical model of the parts. The position of two welding torches are adjusted independently based on the machine tool main motion trajectory to ensure the welding precision. Two sets of adjusting mechanism are needed for T-type welding seam. The vision sensor measure the seam and pass the deviation signal to the CNC system. The CNC system adjust the position of the welding torch installed on the cross slide table to reach the goal of seam tracking and dual-beam laser welding for T-type welding seam. Practice shows that this system for T-type welding seam dual-beam laser welding is easy to operate and can improve the quality and the efficiency.

Abstract: The open, intelligent and integrated CNC systems have been increasingly demanded with the development of manufacturing. In this paper, derived from requirements analysis, the architecture for a novel open, intelligent and integrated CNC system based on STEP-NC and PMAC is proposed. In the architecture, STEP AP-238 is selected as the NC data, which meets the requirements of the openness of NC data. Then, the open master-slave hardware structure based on IPC+PMAC with double CPUs is designed, which meets the requirements of the flexible hardware. Also, the open and modular software structure is designed, which meets the intelligent function requirements. In addition, the work flow of the CNC system is discussed. It turns out that the architecture presented provides a feasible solution to implement the open, intelligent and integrated CNC system.

Abstract: In order to find and repair surface damage on KDP crystal, an open computer numerical control(CNC) system has been developed. This paper introduces the hardware structure of the control system, explains the development of an open CNC system software, which has friendly human-machine interface (HMI) and can make the finding and repairing process efficiently and conveniently and also expounds the algorithm and related parameters for servo tuning. With the open CNC system, the process of finding surface damage is accomplished in 3 hours and clear images of crystal surface damage is taken by CCD. And also, with the help of the open CNC system, a 600µm-diameter, 25µm-depth Gaussian repair contour with low roughness is obtained. Experimental results prove that the open CNC system for finding and repairing surface damage on KDP crystal meets the requirement of efficient detection and ultra-precision machining.

Abstract: This paper is based on the expansion of the CAN bus interface on ARM so that the embedded CNC system to achieve network, and display their respective advantages of field bus technology and embedded technology, so that to set up local area network embedded NC system model. The CNC system designed in this paper has characteristic as follows: high integration, flexible structure, good expansibility and the high performance-to-price ratio and so on.
