Abstract: This paper presents an optimization model to minimize the fuel cost and CO2 emision on university campuses using an hybrid power system (HPS). The HPS is made up of solar photovoltaic (PV), diesel generator (DG), wind turbine (WT) and battery energy storage system (BESS). Two university campuses are used as case study to investigate the efficiency of the proposed HPS. The objective function is formulated such that each campus load is met by the renewable energy source (RES) when available and the DG only swicthes on when the output of the RES is not eneough to meet the load. The resulting non linear optimization problem is solved using a function in MATLAB called “quadprog”. The results of the simulation are analyzed and compared with the base case in which the DG is used exclusively to meet the entire load. The results show the effectiveness of the optimized HPS in saving fuel when compared to the base case and reflect the effects of seasonal variations in fuel costs.

Abstract: With the rapid development of society, universities also develop its digital, intelligent business, which gradually increases the network data transmission needs. Wireless networks are an important part of the campus network, it is very important to build the campus wireless network as a supplement to a campus network. This design introduces a wireless network technology, and uses He Zhou College West Campus as a platform to design the campus wireless LAN-building program. The wired network and wireless network combine to provide better conditions for the campus information technology.

Abstract: We live in a society in rapid development of technology, social networking sites that we use almost every day, but the main purpose of these social networks are not sharing knowledge within the university campus to share knowledge and learn from the experience is very important. Joomla! is an internationally renowned content management system, which is based on the framework of the PHP language and MySql database. In this paper, we based on Joomla! and with MySql database management system designed and implemented a campus social network, designed to create a favorable environment for teachers and student exchanges and cooperation.

Abstract: With rapid economic development in China and input into primary educational facilities, outdoor environment of middle school campus has also increasingly drawn attention from people from all walks of life. In spite of this, we still have many problems and misunderstanding about outdoor environment of middle school campus in the aspects of cognition and actual construction. Based on the example of Shenzhen Foreign Languages School (Senior High School), this paper has introduced and analyzed its outdoor environment space of campus and summarized spatial processing methods finally to demonstrate existing problems in the outdoor environment design of campus, including safety and function problems, excessive attention to expression of campus culture and restriction of base conditions.

Abstract: In this paper, the current problems and demands of campus information system was analyzed and the desktop virtualization solutions were probed. Thus, under the cloud system structure, the user can simply login by the client in desktop systems of data center, as well as traditional computer operating. As a result, the flexibility and security in application of resources are enhanced. More over, schools can avoid the repeated investment and reduce the pressure on hardware and software maintenance, and improve the working efficiency.

Abstract: On college campuses, road is important part of activities on campus, and campus planning. This paper in case of Tianjin University of Technology, On the University campus in common of traffic safety issues examined and analysed, mastering different features of the campus and the community, urban transport, based on these characteristics, on the campuses of these problems put forward the corresponding measures. So that people can be comfortable and convenient campus safe arrival.

Abstract: This study investigates and analysis the carbon dioxide emissions focus on student’s campus activities in the Tajen University during the school year. Survey queries includes commute distance, using means of transport, means of transport emissions, food consumption survey, the amount of waste, recycling and electricity consumption. The collected information was integrated into the carbon footprint calculation. This study investigated a total of 70 college students with 60 valid questionnaires in 85.7% recovery rate. Using descriptive statistics analysis quantitatively describing the students’ basic attributes and utilize analysis of variance to analyze the differences between students’ differences and their associated on carbon dioxide emissions. In this study, the result showed Tajen University students’ carbon footprint averaged 2.31±0.37 kg/person-day. Carbon footprint analysis results indicate that student age, grade, and gender difference between latent variables have different scenarios on carbon footprint model, such as, different genders no significant difference by measuring the carbon footprint, but of different ages and grade under test carbon footprint had a significant difference.

Abstract: In order to save water and reduce the cost of water on campus, the bath wastewater recycling by membrane bioreactor is studied. The results show that the treatment of bath wastewater by membrane bioreactor has good effect with COD<50 mg/L and its average removal is 82.55%, NH3-N<10 mg/L and its average removal is 72.17%, turbidity<0.5 ntu, average value of chromaticity is 26.43 tu and it is tasteless. The treated water of membrane conforms to the urban miscellaneous water standard (GB/T 18920-2002) and the processing cost is 1.45 yuan/m3 which is below the tap water price, and the economic benefit is obvious.

Abstract: In recent years, with the expansion of the scale of Yibin Vocational and Technical College, the old campus scale and facilities can not meet the requirements of teaching development. According to the institute of the eleventh five-year plan, the construction planning of campus culture facilities and the construction of the campus landscape culture is a great urgency. In view of the construction of water campus landscape, this paper expounds how to optimize the water environment of the campus, and build an healthy and harmonious campus landscape, in order to strengthen and promote the education work in vocational and technical college.
