Abstract: In order to reduce casting defects and improve casting quality, the author has developed a three-dimensional parallel vibration casting machine based on parallel mechanism. The paper introduces the three-dimensional parallel vibration casting machine in structure composition and functional properties, the casting machine degree of freedom of excitation mechanism is calculated, its motion performance is analyzed, and the kinematics equations are established. The designed casting machine achieves support and excitation functional separation of moving parts which takes complete decoupling of hybrid mechanism 2PRRR-P (2R ) as excitation mechanism, realizing flask vibration along the X, Y, Z three directions. Test results show that, the casting machine can significantly improve casting quality, raise labor productivity, save casting raw materials, and reduce the production costs.

Abstract: Squeeze casting(liquid forging), a process technology that combines casting- forging and near net-shape high-quality engineering components,is always subjected high attention of the industrial circle. The squeeze casting technology which refers to improve the products properties and expand the applicable range of the squeeze casting is developing fast. With the Flourishing development of car industry and the constant renewal of National Defense Equipment, it raises a new requirement for squeeze casting industry. This paper discusses the process technology and casting machine of domestic and overseas.

Abstract: A full review for technological processes used today, in dental prostheses industry for titanium casting, both in Europe and in United States, reveal that, there is no equipment available on the market able to cast small titanium parts in secondary inert vacuum by induction melting and centrifugal casting. All these advanced processes together contribute to an original concept of the Denticast System. The computer controlled cast sequence is another important factor contributing to a robust system, able to reproduce the achieved technological quality in a reliable manner. Mechanical testing (tensile and hardness) shows that the different alloys used in Denticast project and cast using the prototype, are in most of the results superior to those obtained with two different commercial systems (pressure-vacuum and centrifugal systems). The samples are usable for dental prosthesis without any risk for the patient health.
