Abstract: A second-order regression polynomial model is offered, taking into account a pair components interaction for TCLE calculation of low-melting glasses in system MgSO4-KPO3-Na2B4O7. The analysis of the obtained model is carried out. The results adequacy, obtained by modeling in comparison with the experimental data, is shown. It is established that the square pair interaction of the MgSO4-KPO3 and MgSO4-Na2B4O7 components, when modeling this system, can be neglected.

Abstract: During the monsoon season, certain areas in Malaysia are experiencing a flood. While during the transition period Malaysia is experiencing a drought. This phenomenon could lead to severe disaster and precaution monitoring is needed to avoid this occurrences. Low flow during the dry season could lead to several negative effects on the river ecosystem. Thus, this study was conducted to determine the low flow frequency and intensity for the Segamat city. The duration for 2 years to 100 years based on the previous 20 years of stream flow data were used to calculated. Stream flow data were obtained from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID). Two prominent distribution analyses methods known as Gumbel Distribution and Log pearson Type III Distribution were applied. The distribution results were validated using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and California method and Weibull method are selected. Based on the analyses results, it clearly shows that the distibution of low flow are between 1 m3/s to 10 m3/s. The flow are significantly correlate with the rainfall intensity. RMSE was selected based on the lowest value of 0.721 for the Gumble Distribution and 1.831 for Log Pearson Type III Distribution. Chi-square test shows a good agreement for Gumble Distribution (7.615<12.59) and Log Pearson Type III(5.201<11.07) using 5% significant level. The confident level form both tests are valid (p>0.05), thus, this results could be used for further analyses to alleviate the low flow in the study area.

Abstract: With the rapid development of higher education, students copying work is becoming increasingly serious. The purpose of this paper is:first, geting the count and frequency of attribute used in program, and second using Chi-square test method to get the similarity between programs. This method has very good results for teachers to detect plagiarism.

Abstract: Situation of two wheelers is severe in China, and in order to find out direction to decrease injury, this paper researched correlation between accident factors and casualties. The correlation analysis were made between Human, Time and Scene factors and injury conditions by Chi-square test based on in-depth traffic accident investigation data among motorcycle, two-wheel electric bicycle and bicycle accident. The results show that there are seven factors indicated statistical significance at low grade correlation with casualties among motorcycle and two-wheel electric bicycle. Bicycle have three factors show the middle grade correlation, and Age is the strongest correlation factor with V value 0.39.

Abstract: Saline intrusion is important for ecological reasons as well as water extraction purposes in estuaries. The distance of saline intrusion depends on a number of factors, including river discharge, tidal and wind mixing and gravitational circulation. In this paper, a simple and effective prediction model is derived for the saline intrusion at high slack water in a well mixed, funnel-shaped estuary whose cross-sectional area decreases exponentially (with convergence length a) with distance, x, inland. The model study shows that a graph of salinity against exp (x/a-1) is a straight line, with the slope proportional to the mixing coefficient Dx. The prediction model is presented and validated in Modaomen estuary, one of estuaries of Pearl River Delta in south China and the model results are compared, with good agreement, to the measured data. By analyzing the relationship between the salt intrusion length and tidal range, it is concluded that the optimal time of increasing runoff discharge to prevent saline intrusion is 2 to 3 days before neap tide.

Abstract: The Zero-inflated Poisson model has been widely used in many fields for count data with excessive zeroes. In fact, group data are often collected for many count data, such as cigarette consumption. In order to solve the problem, Zero-inflated Poisson model with group data is investigated in this paper. Parameter estimation is given by the maximum likelihood estimate, model selection is discussed by the Chi-square test, and one real example is given for application in the end.

Abstract: The construction safety supervision errors can lead to unsafe behavior; further affect the working conditions of workers and result in accidents at last. The probabilities of data are provided by statistical analysis between the different types of neighborhood-level factors by the independence of the chi-square test. The relationship analysis of the independence between the behavioral factors has been performed in order to find the non-independent factors. Among the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS), the impact of the high-level factors on the bottom level is determined. Based on the data, the work path of various factors in the HFACS frame is confirmed and it can be a reference for the development of the preventive measures.
