Abstract: Energy efficiency is especially important for the cluster of the wireless sensor network (WSN). This paper studies how to increase availability and survivability of WSN by selecting a suitable cluster head. For this purpose, we propose a passive distributed clustering scheme (PDCS), to promote the efficiency of energy utilization. In PDCS, both the relative distance and the residual energy are taken into consideration for cluster head selection. Simulation results present that PDCS has better performance than the well-known LEACH scheme.

Abstract: WSN comprise of large number of sensor nodes with different hardware abilities and functions. Due to the limited memory resources and energy constraints, complex security algorithms cannot be used in sensor networks. Therefore, it is necessary to well balance between the security level and the associated energy consumption overhead to mitigate the security risks. In this paper, we present A Novel Key Management Scheme for Cluster Based Wireless Sensors Networks (NKMS). The security analysis demonstrates that NKMS is an effective solution to the key management of cluster based wireless sensor networks.

Abstract: A comprehensive analysis on a large amount of ship equipment consumption data accumulated over the years is achieved through the establishment of data warehouse, online analytical processing, regression analysis, cluster analysis, etc. by means of data mining. The analysis results present important references for equipment guarantee department in terms of equipment preparation and carrying, etc. and provide the comprehensive analysis and utilization on massive ship maintenance support data with technical means.

Abstract: A molecular dynamics method has been developed and applied for simulation of a supersonic Ne gas expansion through a convergingdiverging nozzle. Although the classical nucleation theory is able to explain some physics of the nucleation processes, however, due to the physical inaccuracy of the classical nucleation theory for small clusters, molecular dynamic method is more usable for studying gas flows having clusters. Pressure, flow velocity, temperature were parameters that extracted by MD method along the central x-axis. The nucleation and condensation of the clusters and their transient and equilibrium behavior are other parameters that are investigated in this simulation. The results show that although with suitable conditions the formation of clusters in a nanonozzle is possible, but the size of clusters is much smaller than its counterpart in macro scale and clusters with especial magic numbers are formed. The proposed novel method for fabrication this kind of nanonozzle is multi-step anodizing of the aluminum. This nanonozzle which can be fabricated experimentally can be used in Ionized Cluster Beam Deposition (ICBD) method.

Abstract: This paper introduced that how to manage HTTP session in in WebSphere Application Server V7 cluster, and what is Session Affinity, how to achieve the persistence management. The merits and drawbacks of two kinds of schemes are discussed which are be supported by WebSphere Application Server. In the end, some suggestions for persistence management tuning are proposed to meet the users’ requirement of high performance and high reliability.

Abstract: As the urbanization of cities is rapidly developing in China, metropolitan regions establish the clustered power network planning scheme on the background of the clustered city planning of the adjacent areas. Base on the functional orientation and difference of clusters, as well as the theory of hierarchical clustered city planning, the article puts forward the power network planning thoughts and methods. As cluster becomes a planning unit, the load density method is applied in the differential load forecast and the location of substations as well as the path of transmission lines is selected with the thoughts of separation according to different layers and areas. And then, the results will be compared and verified with the planning scheme of the other clustered cities which have the similar function orientation and planning strategy. Finally, the planning methods will be standardized. The application in the power network of Cluster of Livable Education City in Zhengzhou has proved that the methods and steps of the power planning method proposed is able to meet the demand of the network development under the situation of the rapid growth of load.

Abstract: To deal with the problem of premature convergence of the traditional K-means algorithm, a novel K-means cluster method based on the enhanced Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is presented. The algorithm can be had in the course of the introduction of adaptive Gaussian global extremum mutation operator, enhancing particle diversity of the population, thereby increasing the ability of global optimization algorithm. The experimental results show the proposed method can not only effectively solve the premature convergence problem, but also significantly speed up the convergence.

Abstract: The tiny grinding wheel cluster based on MR effect is an ultra-precision machining tool. The structural optimization and magnetic pole characteristics of machining tool are studied in order to improve its machining performance. In this paper, the Maxwell3D of finite element analysis software is used to simulate and analyze the magnetic field interaction of tiny grinding wheel cluster based on MR effect. A polishing experiment is done, and the results show that the polishing effect in the same polarity is better than that in the opposite polarity.
