Abstract: Absorbing powders were covered on the surface of radiation-proof fabric by coating technology. Morphology, structure, property, electromagnetic parameters and reflectivity of the coated composite fabric were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD),differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) , thermogravimetry (TG) and microwave network analyzer respectively. The results showed that the coating on the surface of radiation-proof fabric was crystal, acetylene carbon black (ACB) and carbonyl iron powder (CIP) owned better stability of thermodynamics compared with alloy powder (AP). ACB coated composite fabric and CIP coated composite fabric has excellent absorbing effect on the radar X, Ku band, while AP coated composite fabric has absorbing effects on low-frequency.

Abstract: After the technologies of measurement for thin-film thickness were analyzed, the method of real-time measurement for coating thickness based on quartz crystal oscillation was proposed. The principle of the thickness measured by frequency shifting was analyzed on theory, the functional relationship between the resonant frequency shifting and the film thickness changing was deduced. Aim at the complicated working condition in coating machine, the structure of the measuring system for reducing the influence from external pressure and temperature was designed. The circuit for detecting the frequency shift was designed. Final, according to the experiment result, the resolution of thickness measurement can achieve sub-micrometer level.

Abstract: The contribution deals with evaluation of mechanical properties of thin hard coatings prepared by ARC evaporation on steel substrate K110. In this paper TiN and AlTiCrN are comparatively studied. The thickness of TiN and AlTiCrN coatings was evaluated using the calotest, GDOES and nanohardness was also measured. The results show that AlTiCrN coatings posses higher hardness and Young´s modulus than simple monolayer TiN coatings. The substrate-coating interface was without failures, which confirmed excellent adhesion properties of the system. Due to their specific properties, the coatings appear suitable for use in practical operations.

Abstract: In this article we address the process perspective of anodization for fabrication of nickel coating materials. In this work, we also report the mechanical properties and morphology of coating materials with various parameters. We investigated the effect of temperature and plating time with 0.3 (A/cm3) of current density. Light microscopes, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Hardness tester were used to confirm morphology and hardness of target object, respectively. In general it was observed that anodization process also affected on properties of target object. The hardness of target object with anodization process will be increased in first period and slightly decreased with high temperature and longer plating time. The chemical etching treatment had an impact on the morphological features of the AAO templates lead to morphological features of nickel coating materials.

Abstract: In this paper, we study Spray welding technology has been widely used in our country, it is between the spraying and welding process, the workpiece surface after spray welding coating is thin and smooth, dilution rate is extremely low, the deposited layer and base metal metallurgy, high bonding strength, density, and coating no slag inclusion, porosity and oxidation is suitable for occasions with thin coating. In 45Mn parent metal, for example, this paper mainly introduces the application of the technology in production.

Abstract: Cr-Nd coating was prepared by electrodeposition method. The microhardness, wear weight loss and friction coefficient of Cr-Nd coating were studied respectively. The Cr-Nd coating were characterized with ICP-AES, EDAX, XRD and SEM techniques, respectively. The micro-hardness and the wear weight loss, friction coefficient of the Cr-Nd coatings are higher and lower respectively than that of the Cr coating. The microhardness of the Cr-Nd is as high as 815.6 HV, which is higher 4.16% than that of the Cr coating (783.0 HV). The wear weight loss of Cr-Nd is lower 1.33 times than that of Cr coating. The friction coefficient of Cr coating and Cr-Nd coating are 0.896 and 0.714 respectively. There are crystalline CrC in Cr-Nd coating. There are nodules on Cr coating surface. There are not nodules on Cr-Nd coating surface. Cr-Nd coating surface is smooth.

Abstract: The Ag coating was deposited on the surface of Al-Ag alloy powder by electroless plating process. 10 wt% of AgNO3 was put in the powder for precursor replacement reaction, and then added the powder into electroless plating bath which contained glucose solution, solution of silver ammonia, thiourea solution, tartaric acid solution and absolute ethanol. The effects of formula components were analyzed. The surface morphology of the prepared composite particles was studied with SEM and their chemical compositions were confirmed by XRD. With the chemical etching method, silver content of the powder was determined. The studies have shown that an uniform, complete and dense silver coating for the Al-Ag composite powders was generated by this method, with the silver content being 20wt%, and the conductivity was favorable.

Abstract: The cross-linked/non-crosslinked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion with high solid content were synthesized using styrene (St), butyl acrylate (BA), acrylic acid (AA), methyl acrylate (MMA), N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide (NMA) as the raw materials by seeded polymerization, and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and transmission electron microscope (TEM); The coating for the coated paper was prepared by the two kinds of styrene-acrylate micro emulsion, whose effect on the viscosity and water retention of the coating was discussed. The results show that the particles of two kinds of styrene-acrylate micro emulsion are regular sphericity in shape; The apparent viscosity of the coating decreases with the increase of the shear rate, indicating a pseudo-plastic flow characteristic. There is no obvious difference on the viscosity between the two coating under the condition of high shear rate. Compared with the coating prepared by non-crosslinked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion, the coating prepared by cross-linked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion has a bigger viscosity and a better property of water retention.

Abstract: A new kind of anti-oxidation coating for steel billets at high temperature was prepared. The resistance property of the coatings for oxidation was investigated. The result indicated that the coatings could decrease the oxidation loss at 1300¡æ. The anti-oxidation mechanism of the coatings on the surface of steel billets at high temperature was proposed at the same time.
