Abstract: In the work, the design of the tool – boring bar for parallel machining of conical surfaces and threads in coupling-type parts with opposite directions, same inclination, coaxial conical surfaces and threads is given, and their generalized design features are presented for the machining of couplings of different types and sizes. With the application of the designed tool - boring bar to machining of inner surfaces of couplings, their machining accuracy, especially accuracy of coaxiality of threads, thus the load-carrying capacity of the couplings increases, the technological cost of their production is reduced, and the efficiency of their use is ensured.

Abstract: It's commonly existed in electric machine industry that the coaxiality of processing the rabbets of two ends of the motor frame is hard to guarantee, which is studied in this paper. An analysis of the causes of the coaxiality error of the rabbets of two ends of the motor frame in vertical lathe machining is made and strategies are proposed to improve the machining precision of the motor frame. Based on mode analysis of the motor frame in vertical lathe machining by ANSYS finite element software, the reasonable clamping method is determined and new process plan and technological equipment are designed for machining of the motor frame. The research would demonstrate great significance in improving the performance of the motor, prolonging the service life and reducing the production cost.

Abstract: The boring machine is used for fine boring on ram. The ram, the machining precision of which is about 5μm level, will be used to make another machine tool after processing. To meet the demand about fine boring, the paper studied the boring machine design. Firstly, make the multi-position process simultaneously by arranging three boring tool on the boring bar corresponding to three stations of ram. Secondly, three eddy current displacement sensors are arranged in the same axial position of the boring tool, which measure the change of the inner wall of three round holes. Errors of roundness, concentricity and parallelism will be calculated based on the measured data, also the feed amount of secondary processing is calculated in order to guide the feed of boring tools which are driven by linear motor in closed loop control. Finally, these steps are repeated until the measurement results meet the accuracy requirements.

Abstract: When measuring the coaxiality of a cylinder, we often get the poor reproducibility of measurement results. This phenomenon is related not only to its measuring machine condition, but also to the measuring method. The main factors that cause measurement errors are analyzed in this paper, and some solutions to improve the measurement results are provided.

Abstract: Semi-dynamic method is employed to calculate the local stiffness of angular contact ball bearing, accounting for the influence of geometrical deflects caused by shaft coaxiality in the process of bearing assemble. The effect of coaxiality on the bearing deflect is computed, and the relationship of local bearing stiffness to coaxiality is analyzed.

Abstract: An expert system of precise injection molding process optimization based on Moldflow software was set up in this paper. Expert system of precise injection molding process optimization based on Moldflow-MPI module consist of optimization of packing curve, analyzer of parallelism and coaxiality, analyzer of process optimization and integrative forecaster of weld line. The system can be used in the process optimization of precise injection molding, the forecast and control of product properties, and the flaw elimination of product molding.
