Abstract: Vibratory feeder is a device which is used to arrange small workpieces in neat rows and convey them from one place to another by vibratory feeding. It has been playing a key role in automation production. According to manufacturing equipments for the chassis of vibratory bowl feeder, this paper makes studies mainly in the followings: (1) introduces the principle of the vibratory feeder briefly, (2) the mechanical structure of the automatic extrusion device for curved chassis of vibratory feeder is designed, including frame, moulds and guiding mechanism, (3) static analysis, mould stress analysis are done by using the finite software ANSYS, (4) based on the electro-hydraulic proportional control technology, a hydraulic system is designed, (5) a control system based on STC89C52RC MCU(Micro Control Unit) is given. The problems of automatic extrusion for the curved chassis of vibratory feeder are successfully solved through the theoretical and experimental studies, which achieves the expected design goals and fills in a gap in this field in China, which brings great economic and social potential benefits and has wide application prospect.

Abstract: A three-layers assembled cavity die and its technological measures were designed for cold extrusion forming for the bevel gear. Numerical simulation of the cold extrusion forming process was applied using Deform-3D software, load curve, velocity field, stress field and temperature field were analyzed, thus obtain the basic knowledge of the law of the bevel gear deformation. Subsequent targets for optimization were introduced, aiming to solve the remaining problems of the current cold extrusion forming. The accomplished work shows some significance in guiding how to design a die and its technological measures.

Abstract: Rigid-viscoplastic finite element method was used to analysis the cold extrusion of the external boss and ring gear. Some groups of numerical models were built with different design parameters of die, geometric parameters of gear, processing conditions, and the service loads were investigated. Form the investigation; we predicted the forming defects occurring in the practice. Based on Archard model the lives of dies were predicted. The conclusion above has more guidance to the production.

Abstract: Based on building the 3-D elastoplastic FEA model on the M93 guide cylinder and its mould, the process of cold extrusion was simulated by the numerical simulation analysis. The varying rules of extruding forces, velocity, stress as well as metal fluent regulation were obtained. The results of simulation agreed with the practice. This research played a guiding role on the simulation of the cold extrusion and the design of the die set.

Abstract: a cold extrusion forming process in die structure of plug extremity is analyzed in this paper, its technological data on the tooling structure design of plug extremity are discussed, and the die architecture design and key technology in the automatic extrusion machine for plug extremity with cold extrusion forming approach were accomplished. This plug extremity equipment developed with cold extrusion forming process technology can not only achieved the process of delivering material, extruding forming and cutting-off material in automatically, but also enhanced the rigidity and intension at two ends of plug. The production efficiency and the material used ratio were increased greatly, the manufacturing cost was decreased obviously, and the plug quality with cold extrusion forming method was ensured.
