Abstract: Collaborative design is a new method that grows up with the development of the computer technology, network technology, database technology and artificial intelligence technology in recent years. According to the practical requirements of the collaborative design, key points of architecture, version management and electronic countersignature of collaborative design is studied. Besides, based on the theoretical study, a prototype system of electronic document management oriented collaborative design is developed. The operated results of the system verify the correctness of theoretical research and technical feasibility.

Abstract: As an important creative design mode, the process integration of the collaborative commodity design (CCD) activity is very necessary to be studied deeply. In this paper, the definition of the collaborative commodity design is proposed firstly based on the collaborative design style and the commercial parts applications. Then, the difference between the collaborative commodity design and the collaborative product design is compared. The process integration model of CCD is described. And the three main process integration of CCD are discussed respectively. The integration of the technology scheme restraints to the economic scheme restraints is achieved by these process integrations in the CCD process.

Abstract: Network Security serves as a guarantee for achieving collaborative design and enabling network to be highly efficient. The hidden security lapses in the frame of traditional collaborative design system are analyzed in this paper. The author also points out that as for a sound network collaborative design, a security mechanism must be established to secure the system in terms of data transmission and personnel action. A comprehensive security mechanism involving VPN encoded transmission, identification based on projects and authority management according to different roles.

Abstract: During the process of mechanical product design, it is difficult for designer to obtain the required knowledge accurately. Through analyzing knowledge requirements of collaborative design, as well as the close relationship of knowledge with knowledge, business and people, we presents a new knowledge integration patterns and mechanism oriented to product collaboration design. Then according to the characteristics of knowledge integration system for collaborative design, a knowledge integration system framework oriented to product collaboration design is presented. Finally we develop a prototype system of knowledge integration supporting product collaboration design.

Abstract: In collaborative design, it is very important to effectively express complex parts information. In this paper, the several expressions for parts information are analyzed, the expressions are parts information expressions of geometry-oriented model, the multi-view expressions of parts information, the exchange of parts information between heterogeneous systems, and share of parts information geographically distributed. And the expressions are used to describe the parts information.

Abstract: Consistency maintenance is a key problem in collaborative product design. Firstly, based on product design theory, the semantics relationships described by XML among components in collaborative product design system are made. Secondly, the associated components are determined through backward and forward semantics reasoning. Finally, the data is updated by constraints solving, and the consistency maintenance is achieved.

Abstract: Based on diesel engine, the digital collaborative platform was designed. The key technology of supporting the platform was introduced. In addition, the principle of digital collaborative design was designed. For a diesel engine, the flow of design was introduced. In every step, the designed contents were determined. Abstract: The concept of collaborative design and mobile crane designing are discussed, a method of concurrent engineering technique applied in mobile crane designing within network circumstance has been proposed. And a detailed description is carried on a sort of key technology—the line browsing and revision, which is based on a re-development of the SolidWorks drawing software on the .NET platform, the parametric design module of mobile crane is complete. Besides, with support of digitized coordination design tool, the Mobile Crane coordination design platform is constructed.
