Abstract: A convenient and reliable connection between panels and beams was investigated for collaborative work of single-layer composite reticulated shell structure in which aluminum alloy honeycomb panels participate. In the paper, the "self-tapping bolt" connection was adopted to realize the "tight fit" performance of connection effectively in the composite structure. Through three groups of bearing capacity test on 1.5 m×3 m square meters of the aluminum alloy honeycomb panel-square tube beam combined structure, the force characteristics and failure mechanism of the structures were studied. The experimental results revealed that the connection method could ensure effective transmission between the panel and the beam which made them work in excellent condition. In order to simulate complex performance connection with the panel-beam composite structure, tangential and normal contact behavior were considered at the bolt connection point between the honeycomb panel and the beam in ABAQUS analysis. The analysis results illustrated that the finite element results had the highest matching degree with the experimental values when the friction coefficient of the joint boundary was 0.25. The finite element analysis of the connection bolts spacing indicated that the economic and excellent connection effect can be achieved when the spacing was about 90 mm.

Abstract: In order to investigate the characteristics of solid attitude control system (SACS) using proportional pintle thrusters, an ACS comprised of dual collaborative thrusters was designed and studied by theory and cold-flow test. Experiments were conducted to ascertain thrust variation at different pintle locations. With the purpose of studying thrust control principle, the thrust, chamber pressure and pintle displacement of two thrusters were measured, which worked differentially in the process. Results show that a nearly linear relationship is found between the thrust and valve pintle position and the two thrusters can work synchronous to produce a resultant force, whose direction and value can vary continuously. Besides, collaborative work mode of dual thrusters is conducive to the stabilization of chamber pressure which is beneficial to the choice of propellant.

Abstract: With the improvement of requirements for the building, and the effects of various factors for some existing steel structure building during the long-term service process, structural function is damaged, which requires reinforcement for existing structures to meet the requirements of its use of the function. This paper systematically introduces the research and application of steel structure member on strengthening aspects, which is prepared for the research of steel column reinforced by enclosed reinforced concrete under axial compression with initial compressive load. According to development and characteristics of steel columns reinforced by enclosed reinforced concrete under axial compression, this paper analyzes the common working mechanism of steel structure and concrete after reinforcement, and introduces the calculation method and its engineering application in our country.

Abstract: Collaborative design is a significant method to improve the efficiency of complex product development. In order to reinforce the update and synchronize mechanism of the collaborative working environment, relational design techniques are studied. Taking airplane wing as an example, the relations in product design, manufacturing and measurement stages are analyzed and classified into three types: datum reference relation, parameter relation and non-geometric relation. Then the creation and update methods of the relations of each type are discussed respectively, and they are summarized to a uniform user operation pattern. Finally, a relational design tool is developed and applied in a case study, which validates the feasibility of our methods.

Abstract: The interest of the present work is focused on the improvement of the students learning process through the use of a Wiki-like platform. In our research The Wiki was intended as a mean in order to make easier the learning project. During the academic year 2011/2012 the Area of Manufacturing Engineering of the University of Oviedo was involved in a project which aim was the creation of a Wiki. Nowadays this software is used as auxiliary material for other subjects that are given by the Manufacturing Engineering Area in those new Engineering degrees that have been created in order to adapt the studies to the requirement of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). According to the results obtained by the students, it can be stated that the higher the mark of the students Wiki the better his/her mark in the exam is.

Abstract: Considering that the health monitoring system and construction monitoring system are not combined flexibly, the whole life monitoring model is conceived. That method is based on data dependence analysis of pre-buried and table-posted sensor, at the same time, correction of monitoring data is also taken into consideration. All the works focus on the research about collaborative work mode of monitoring data from pre-buried and table-posted sensor. This achievement brings so many benefits, firstly, it makes dead loads and living loads are considered together. Secondly, it brings new ideas to guarantee the safety of large bridges in construction or operation. Thirdly, the research results are embodied fully in the engineering practice of Nujiang Bridge.

Abstract: This paper using time time-procedure analysis method to analyze seismic response on a 80 m × 80 m bidirectional beam string structure model. Under vertical seismic action, we respectively compared to the seismic performance under the structure have or no supporting frame and have the same supporting frame but different support conditions. Under vertical seismic action, the axial force of brace is almost the same considering or unconsidering the supporting frame, while the upper beam vertical displacement is increased and the surrounding of the roof even increased several times considering supporting frame; the boundary conditions for the sliding hinge support bidirectional beam string structure which under vertical seismic ( middle seismic ) action the brace axial force and winding beam vertical displacement are nearly same with the fixed hinged support, while the horizontal displacement of the winding beam is larger than the fixed hinged support; the change of support conditions affect the order of the various modes of the structure but no affect the structural vibration modes.
