Abstract: The purpose of this study is to introduce a method based on color space and object shape, in order to get data of ball by openni and to obtain a coordinate of the point. The distance from robot to basketball with respect to basketball position was achieved. Our results shows that the method has strong stability and real-time performance to use in robots.

Abstract: At present, digital printing technology develops rapidly, but in terms of color reproduction, digital proofing and the traditional mechanical proofing are different, it’s difficult to determine the color reduction according to the dot size, mainly manifested in the difference between the display color and the actual digital output color. In this paper, through analyzing the differences with color management technology, to keep consistency between the original display color and digital proof color as the goal. Through the study, mainly provides solutions for color consistency of digital proofing for paper packing.

Abstract: Because of the powerful data processing ability of FPGA, the fast interpolation algorithm is used for Bayer format data which comes from CMOS sensor MT9M011 to convert to RGB image format. In the RGB color space to YCbCr space conversion stage,using color space conversion formula, combined with the characteristics of FPGA, realize the conversion of RGB to YCbCr. Finally, correctness is verified by the experimental results which use SignalTap II embedded logic analyzer.

Abstract: Facial region detection has broad application prospects, but existing human face region detection methods have some rigorous requirements for the light conditions. Error detection about face area caused by the poor light conditions has a great bad effect on the follow-up processing, such as face recognition, fatigue degree evaluation based on visual. So face region detection in complex lighting conditions has always been the difficult problem. Therefore a self-adaptive illumination compensation method for color images has been proposed. Select the color face images database of the California Institute of Technology to test the method dealing with the face region detection by original image and the image after illumination compensation. In the simulation experiment, the method of Illumination compensation can effectively improve the detection accuracy. Lay the foundation for driver fatigue detection based on visual.

Abstract: This paper presents a fast algorithm for face detection in complex background, in which image color information is used first, project upper part of the partition of face in the gray image to horizontal and vertical direction. Determine the eyes positions by the minimum value, and scope the human eye in the face of prior knowledge to judge and adjust the face region.

Abstract: The three components of the color images enhance the images directly in the RGB color space, will cause distortion of the image. So our paper will convert true color image from RGB space to YIQ space, the holomorphic filtering and histogram equalization are executed on Y component to make the image enhancement, the Y component contains a lot of image information; finally, the image is converted from YIQ color space to RGB color space once again. Experimental results show that the approach which were proposed in the paper, Combined with the method of holomorphic filtering and histogram equalization to overcome the uneven illumination, the image is dark and other shortcomings to achieve satisfactory enhancement.

Abstract: To solve the problem that traditional threshold segmentation model is not very robust in skin segmentation under different skin colors and different illuminations, an improved adaptive skin color model is proposed. This model detects the change rate of the skin color pixels by modifying the certain threshold while fixing others, then selects the optimum threshold adaptively. The experimental results show that this algorithm can effectively distinguish skin color regions and background regions, and has strong robustness on light disturbance.

Abstract: Current approaches for opening door usually focus on the recognition of door handle in a fixed position, but in the process of door opening, a manipulator with a mobile platform is very important under real-world scenarios, which brings significance to the location and distance measurement of a door handle when the mobile platform is moving. In this paper, a method for location of a door handle in HSI color space is presented. The image of the door handle is captured by the kinect for Xbox360, and is processed in HSI color space, resulting in a rectangle frame fitted to the door handle to be displayed in real time. The distance value of the door handle is obtained from the depth image. Experiment results show the efficiency of the proposed method.

Abstract: The main objective of designing skin color model is to determine whether the pixel is skin color pixels and generate the skin color mask images. The paper discusses the choise of color space and skin color model designing in skin color detection system, analysis the problems often needed to solve in it and put forward an improved skin color detection algorithm model based on ellipse boundary. The skin color detection experiment is completed. The result of experiment shows the skin color detection algorithm model is good.
