Abstract: Credibility is the key performance index and the lifeline for system simulation. Verification, validation and accreditation (VV&A) of all system simulation life can insure the credibility, and credibility evaluation is a very necessary approach to obtain the credibility. Combat simulation is a special simulation for its many characteristics of multi-level, more elements, overall emergence, uncertainty, morbid and multi-granularity model, and so on. Credibility is vital to combat simulation. The evaluation method is one of the aspects of credibility evaluation. In this paper, the methods of credibility evaluation are researched. The common evaluation methods are analyzed and compared. Aiming at the characteristics of combat simulation system, the subjective comprehensive evaluation method based on subject matter expert (SME) is put forward, which is applied to a combat simulation. The practice shows that the subjective comprehensive evaluation method is very effective. The results are sufficiently credible to support the application.

Abstract: In this paper, the virtual reality technology and its hardware and software development platforms are introduced. Focus on the characteristic of non-lethal ammunition, it elaborates on the design ideas, system structure, key technology of developing virtual operation and training system with tools. The system provides a new experimental platform for the armed forces to handle emergency events as it simulates a more realistic battlefield situation.

Abstract: Combat simulation has become the important means to the training and design of combat simulation. Within the progress of researching and developing combat simulation system, how building up the environment that comes close to the realistic combat field, on the departure that whole describing the activity of combat unit in the combat field, This paper has put forward the concept of CABC (Combat Agent Based Command) according to the Agent of the instruction mechanism, it has combined the autonomy and restriction into fact, can react with the agents in the environment proactively or passively. CABC is autonomous, proactive, social and intelligent.

Abstract: When developing a combat simulation system model, how to design its architecture determines if the final simulation result is satisfying or not. Here, a novel network-centric architecture is brought forward to support the modeling for combat simulation systems. This architecture takes the communications network model as the basis platform, enable various combat entity models being flexibly plugged to the network model platform. Then, as the core of this architecture, the communication network model is researched weightily, such as the model resolution, hot swapping model design, network scenarios’ generation, and so on.
