Abstract: If sustainable life on Earth is the goal (today), the Mankind cannot head towards it living in cities that are not sustainable. Localities that have lost the ability, unduly frequent in our cities, call the nature and causes of the phenomenon to be revisited. Once perceived in a city context, brownfields appear as places where the city failed: the communication, both material and social-cultural values´ exchange – that is the fundamental principle of a city - reduced and finally stopped between the locality, its surroundings and the polis. Identified as a platform for the communication, public space creates the basic framework of a city – the metropolitan structure. Vital public space claims to be the base of sustainable development of a city thus: the paper verifies the hypothesis and provides essential description of functions and types of public space. Principles and methods of its formation are demonstrated on examples in a nutshell. Eventually, the paper contributes both to the positive and to the normative theory of urban public space. Richly documented both in literature and the author's own work, commonly accessible reality of the built environment is the platform of explorative research plan of the paper. New, revising conclusions do not result from new findings on the situation, but from new perspectives on familiar issues. The same platform allows easy verification of hypotheses and new explanations.

Abstract: Abstract. With the SIEMENS S7-200 PLC and HMI based on KingView being the master, a slave station of STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller is developed based on MODBUS protocol. The establishment and program designing of communication protocol using RS485/RS232 between master and slave is introduced firstly. Then the process of debugging between the microcontroller and PC, the microcontroller and the PLC is elaborated. Thus serial communication is implemented based on MODBUS protocol in RTU mode. The system will be applied in central air-conditioning control system. A good control effect will be obtained as the controlling strategy and main algorithm can be computed in the STM32 slave station.

Abstract: The paper focuses on the locomotive intelligent watt hour meter based on STM32. By designing Intelligent watt hour meter main function, hardware architecture, and software processes to achieve energy data display, storage, and duplex communication. The hardware structure consists of main control module, electric energy metering module, communication module and other components, electric energy metering module is responsible for data acquisition, the main control module is responsible for data processing, communications module is responsible for two-way communication. Using MATLAB software to simulate the newly developed Intelligent watt hour meter,the simulation results show that, the intelligent watt hour meter has the advantages of high precision, low power consumption, fast performance, strong anti-interference ability, low manufacturing cost etc.

Abstract: This paper relates to a high reliable communication method for the terminal of a networked and distributed power supply system. Terminal refers to the realization of two-way communication between high voltage source of distributed power supply and laden multiple electrical appliances. Due to the characteristics of long distance, complex electromagnetic environment and small amount of communication information between the voltage source and the electrical appliance, this paper designs a new kind of high reliable communication method along with high-voltage transmission, narrow-banded and single-ended synchronous [1,2,8]. Under the condition of satisfying the communication capacity and reliability, this method has been successfully applied to the city network and LED street lamp management system with the advantage of simple circuit design and inexpensive manufacturing cost.

Abstract: For the problem of presence fire district network, multi-station with one frequency fire emergency communication network based on TDD-OFDM is proposed. The network mode and the basic structure and operating principle of the receiving and sending equipment from central station, car relay stations, as well as single firefighter piggyback are introduced, as a result ,voice and video data can be high-speed transmitted, thus, the frequency utilization and bandwidth of the broadcast networks are improved.

The new train remote communication technology is the basic topic with high technology, which has complicated procedures, in fact, contains mixture and summary of multi-skills, such as the compute control, application of sensor technology, the recognition of test skills and digital signal processing, and aggregation. Therefore, it can improve signal collection efficiency, and access to dynamic unbalance signal of the train remote communication signal.
