Abstract: The need to develop new methods for predicting the properties of polymeric materials is also justified by the goal of designing new innovative materials with the required functional properties and increased competitiveness. The classical methods for predicting deformation processes of polymeric materials are based on the numerical solution of integral constitutive equations for polymer viscoelasticity of the Boltzmann-Volterra type, which do not consider corrections for the irreversibility of the plastic component of deformation and therefore can lead to significant prediction errors. To improve the accuracy of predicting the deformation processes of polymer materials it is proposed to introduce a physically justified correction with account for the irreversibility of the plastic component of deformation. The introduction of this correction significantly increases the reliability and accuracy of predicting the functional and operational properties of polymer materials. The article suggests demonstrating the methods for predicting deformation processes with the example of the polyester textile yarn made of polyester fibers. Unlike many other synthetic fibers, the polyester ones have such important properties as structural stability, softness along with high strength, elasticity, resilience, tensile strength, crease and pilling resistance, temperature regulation, shape retention, etc. The polyester fiber has a hollow structure and its single components have the form of spiral springs which give the effect of a springy base when intertwined.

Abstract: At present time a lot of methods are used for the assessment of product quality level, as well as its manufacturing perspectives. Only quantitative data can be used in order to compare the competitiveness of products, facilities, companies, etc. But methods for quantitative assessment of technological processes competitiveness have not been still proposed. The present paper describes a developed procedure for evaluation the competitiveness of technological processes. It takes into consideration the main factors which are used for estimation of process effectiveness: quality of products, level of applied technologies and production costs. In order to range these parameters, it is proposed to use weighting factors for each of them. An integrated efficiency index may vary within a range of 0 to 1. This method allows not only evaluating competitiveness of production processes, but also choosing the most rational production process, based on required properties of the processed item. The application of the developed approach is shown on the example of reinforcing steel manufacturing, which can be produced in different ways. The obtained results of calculation present a comparison of selected manufacturing techniques by the following parameters: strength and ductility properties of reinforcing bars, an applied forming method, possibility of a layer winding and a range of diameters of bars in coils. It is shown that the developed model makes it possible to determine a trend in development or adjustment of operating parameters for existing options of processes applied at an operating plant.

Abstract: In the article the methodological approach towards the assessment of competitiveness of organizations and their construction products, which allows to increase the efficiency of management of the competitiveness process of the construction organizations, is substantiated. The authors propose the methodological approach towards the validation of the quantitative assessment of the competitiveness potential of the organizations. The approaches are based on the criteria of optimality, mitigation of risks of losing the potential for increasing the competitive advantages of the organization and mitigation of the payback period of the investments, targeted at the formation of the potential of the internal environment with the aim of developing the competitive advantage. This proposal allows increasing the quality of the analysis and the assessment of the potential of the internal environment of the organizations and carrying out the result-oriented diagnostics, collection, processing, analysis and assessment of the necessary information in order to select the directions for the development of the entrepreneurial potential of the internal environment of the organization.

Abstract: Energetics is one of the leading sectors of the Ukrainian economy, which provides vital interests of the country, its economic security, social and cultural standard of living of the people. At the present stage of the transformational processes that dominate the world, when innovation, efficiency and competitiveness become the main tasks and signs of economic development, еnergetics becomes a key factor in technological modernization of the economy. The current state of industrial development in Ukraine is characterized by a drop in investment processes and a lack of production. The industry has an advantage in industries with a low technological level, final consumption products are largely uncompetitive in foreign markets, and a significant gap in socio-economic development levels is slowing down the growth of the economy both in general and in the sectors of the national economy. Author's contribution consists in providing the most effective management tools of business competitiveness at present. The article deals the features of formation of competitive advantages of power enterprises.

Abstract: Manufacturing competitive science-intensive engineering products is one of the most important tendencies of the modern stage of Russian economy development. Various means are applied to assess the competitiveness including automated competitiveness monitoring of science-intensive products at machinery production. A separate issue is building a team of experts for the survey. To solve this problem we engage a forward-looking businessman, a professional manager, an independent expert and a potential consumer as the subjects of the dialogue.
