Abstract: Research on composition and quantitative representation of the function unit structural information, seeking the combination process effectively, is the key technology to generate product design schemes. Full life cycle assessment properties of structure is introduced into expression of design scheme. The gene model of life cycle assessment properties of structure is established, and the variable length coding is converted to equal length coding to realize the quantitative representation of structure information. The fitness function is established for life cycle assessment of structure with Analytic Hierarchy Process. The improved segmentation genetic algorithm is studied. The gene sequence of design scheme is segmented. Genetic operators such as across and mutate is designed for structure information the segmented gene fragment. Life cycle assessment gene of structure as attribute does not participate in the genetic operation. Design schemes automatic generation is achieved based on improved segmented genetic operators, reflecting life cycle assessment properties of design schemes.

Abstract: With the rapid development of network technology, music websites gradually become a popular, and the emergence of pop music website is to meet the people's strong demand for popular music, because database plays an important role in the design of website, studying the database design of pop music website development is important. From the conception of database design, firstly, this paper studies conceptual design for the database design, conceptual design is mainly reflected in the form of an E-R diagram; then conducted logical in the database design, logical design is expressed by the pattern of table structure; finally, studies the security design of database design, describes the security policy of database. The studied content of this paper plays a supporting role for popular music website design, promotes the combination of music and websites, and enriches people's leisure life.

Abstract: Matching diagram is a key part of the conceptual design process to determine the wing area and the required power. However, it requires drag polar estimation and the assumption of maximum lift coefficient. In case of conventional manned aircraft, early estimation techniques are based on statistical data that are not suitable for hand-launched aircraft. In this study, it has been attempted to present the performance calculations and a proper conceptual design model by acquiring sound values for the aerodynamic coefficients in low Reynolds number, using statistical wetted area as well as a raw design of fuselage, wing and tails. The process is applied to a sample scenario and the results are evaluated.

Abstract: The aim of Computer Aided Innovation (CAI) is to support the engineer’s problem solving process with current design method and knowledge base. TRIZ is developed based on the patents analysis within the cross domain in the world and it is used in innovation design widely. Conflict Matrix, Effect, Standard Solution and Separate Principle are the key TRIZ tools used to resolve the inventive problems. And they can also be used for knowledge representation in the design system. As a Computer Aided Innovation System, Innovation Engine is developed and instructed. The effect of TRIZ methodology and CAI system can be proved with the case analysis of the cavity shape design of the rotor channel in the vertical shaft impact crusher. With limited power of electrical motor, there is a technical conflict in a vertical shaft impact crusher when requirement of improving break ratio of the stone materials. With the recommended principle (Curvature), the conception of a channel with a curvilinear shape can be gotten.

Abstract: Due to difficult to building the complete rule base and low efficiency of rule-base reasoning (RBR), an approach combines the case-based reasoning (CBR) and fuzzy Petri net (FPN) model for conceptual design is proposed. Firstly, the similar cases are retrieved by CBR method from case base. The revision rules are established and represented by FPN. Secondly, mathematical principle of FPN is used to reason, which is beneficial to overcoming the disadvantage of low efficiency in RBR and helpful to case revision. The presented method could help designers, by referencing previous design cases, to make case revise quickly and finish the design requirement during product design. Finally, the implementation of proposed system is outlined and case study has been used to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of the proposed approach.

Abstract: To design a new product for fire extinguishing equipment, knowledge about customer requirements for selecting suitable characteristics is required. And Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is proposed as an effective design method to addresses the translation of customer requirements into product functional characteristics. So this paper describes an extension of QFD method aimed at representing customer needs, technological requirements, environmental impacts and their relationships with the product functionality during the conceptual design phase. At last this method could help designers to design a new conceptual product for fire extinguishing equipment.

Abstract: Aiming to the young people’s requirements on mobile phone design, market research for target population is done. Requirements on mobile phone design are found. Compared to existing mobile phone, the direction of mobile phone conceptual design is planned. A novel conceptual mobile phone is designed based on TRIZ theory. Based on TRIZ theory, the solution process is simple, has clear goal, and the effect is outstanding. So TRIZ theory is a good way of innovation.

Abstract: Rough set has been applied into the conceptual design of products in order to choose the structure correct project rapidly according to the users’ demand. First of all, using rough set, the relation between features has been found out to set up the simple decision-making table and get the regulations of the project decision-making. According to the decision table, the redundant project is deleted to choose the correct project rapidly in the stage of conceptual design. The example of the rapid design of an astronomical doom shows this method is more objective and concise than those conventional methods and the processing speed is much faster.

Abstract: Since Ultra High Voltage (UHV) transmission lines have the high charging capacitance, continuous reactive power compensation is vital for efficient operation of long transmission power lines or cables. A continuous reactive compensation will reduce the transmission losses and increase the transmission capacity of active power. In order to achieve the continuous reactive power compensation, we choose the magnetic saturable type reactor. The principle of a magnetic saturable reactor requires a high current ampere-turn coil as its dc bias, and this coil is necessary to use a high temperature superconducting (HTS) winding. As the first stage of the study, we have constructed a 220V small-scale prototype which the dc bias is made of copper coil instead of the HTS coil. The copper coil of the dc bias in small-scale reactor has the same ampere-turn with a 220V HTS controllable reactor (HCR), so its performance keeps the same except the HTS part. Based on this, we made a conceptual design for a 35kV/5Mvar HCR. The output property and harmonic property have been studied by simulation and experiment. The results prove that it can obtain a continuous controllable reactive power output.

Abstract: We present a project to encourage students to venture into aerospace engineering projects, mainly in the emulation of communicating with the satellite and the earth station. In this exercise was proposed to use all the features of SATEX-II so they could understand a specific project and thus understand all the elements of the TV and play on to scale their communication with the ground station, with the ultimate to generate a comprehensive understanding. And we present to the conceptual design of the various elements of hardware that will Satex-II Satellite and in the most important aspects to consider in choosing the computer. Space conditions are totally different from terrestrial conditions, so the elements of the satellite's computer should be space technology, which require specific materials and fully redundant architecture for the proper functioning of the satellite, which depends mainly on the assigned mission.
