Abstract: Ship-based aircraft how to scientifically reasonable and efficient configuration involves many complex factors, according to the study based on ship-based aircraft configuration expanding backpack theoretical optimization program. First, based on the operational capability of the ship-based aircraft to achieve the concept of the basic unit, to determine the basic configuration of the ship-based aircraft program to achieve a balanced and comprehensive defense capability; followed by analysis and to quantify the typical tasks threats, fuzzy decision evaluation model based on AHP method to build the basic unit of the ship-based aircraft mission capability; finally, based on generated expand backpacks theory the ship-based aircraft configuration program, and the use of genetic algorithm for efficient optimization.

Abstract: The current product configuration methods can only be applied to the situation when the configuration information is specific or fuzzy. In order to address this problem, a new multi-objective optimization approach to configuration design with the consideration of several types of uncertain information was proposed. The uncertain configuration information was uniformly described with interval numbers. Targeting on optimizing the performance, cost and term of configured products, three mathematical models was established, and some adaptations were made to these models according to the interval number. A multi-objective optimization model was generated by integrating the three models. The non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II was used to solve the model and a Pareto optimal set of product configuration schemes was obtained. A general optimum selection method was put forward based on the fuzzy set theory, and the optimization sequence of the Pareto solutions can be founded using the method. The proposed approach can effectively deal with the problem of product configuration optimization under uncertain information.

Abstract: Based on the turbulence characteristics of spillway, a turbulence model for simulating turbulent flow with free water surface under a body-fitted coordinate is established and a computer program is developed for numerical experiment in this paper. A spillway flow is numerically simulated, and the results are quite fitted with the experimental ones. Thus, the proposed model is also applied to the spillway tunnel optimization.

Abstract: For the real-time pose adjustment of the sub-reflector of antenna to ensure its best condition, Stewart platform-based mechanism is adopted. This paper presents the configuration optimization of the adjusting parallel mechanism taking the minimum force acted on each limb as the target, and the basic structural parameters of the mechanism are obtained. Considering the weight of the moving platform, the external load, and the influence of the snow and the wind, the maximum force acted on the limbs of the mechanism in the required workspace is calculated, which established the foundation for the structural design of the mechanism. The contents of this paper possess theoretical significance and engineering value for the development of the adjusting mechanism for the sub-reflector of antenna.

Abstract: Finite element mode analysis and structure optimization of several multitude holes
structure diamond saw blades are conducted to study vibration and noise of saw blade. Result shows
multitude holes structure saw blade has lower natural frequency than conventional saw blade, which
conduces decreasing of noise radiant efficiency. Through configuration optimization, it is clear that
hole diameter, hole arrange group number and average displacement DMX of Z axes have great
effects on saw blade vibration target function. Finally, the analysis to characters of sawing force and
vibration by experiment helps to find out optimum structure of diamond saw blade with multitude
holes, more rational sawing parameter and its adaptability to work piece material.

Abstract: The optimization design problem of vibration isolation and shock resistance system is
studied in consideration of acoustical concealment performance and life-force of ships. The
weakness of design method based on continuity is pointed out and combination optimal design
method is brought forward. Then the limiting performance of shock isolation system is analyzed
and two realization methods are discussed. One method is to adopt linear stiffness component with
large damping. The other method is to use multiple linear stiffness components without damping.
Simulation results showed that the optimal loss factor is still 0.4 when the stiffness of shock bumper
is much larger than that of vibration isolator, just the same with that suffering from only shock
loads. Simulation results also showed that limiting performance can be achieved by configuration
optimal design using multiple linear components. The two discussed methods can be used to direct
engineering application.
