Abstract: The problem of use of hi-tech macroporous concrete in load-carrying structures of low-rise buildings is designated and the forthcoming research problems of power resistance and deformation of the compressed and bent elements from foam concrete of natural solidification are formulated. Results of pilot researches of intense state of strain of the compressed and bent elements from foam concrete of average density of 1200-1600 kg/m3 of different structural modification in the conditions of short-term and long action of loading are provided. It is established that foam concrete meet for nonrigid indicators regulatory requirements and take the intermediate place between full-strength cellular and light concrete on expanded aggregates that creates premises for their successful application in the bearing concrete and reinforced concrete constructions. Deformation and strength characteristics of foam concrete of different structural modifications taking into account the impact of the long processes caused by solidification of concrete and external power factors, necessary for calculation and structural design are offered. The received results of researches will allow to project rationally bearing and enclosing structures from foam concrete that leads to increase in technological level of monolithic construction.

Abstract: In the past five years a number of master’s theses have been conducted at Belgian Technical Colleges and Universities to (re)introduce knowledge of aluminium as a structural material, given that courses offered in Belgium are oriented towards steel and concrete design and no specific course on aluminium exists. The present contribution highlights the different subjects covered in these theses and illustrates the results obtained. Emphasis is placed on the methodology used to design and innovate with aluminium, taking into account the Eurocode rules that apply to the design of specific aluminium structures. For this, appropriate use was made of existing software that allows for the detailed calculation of section reduction and unity checks.

Abstract: The typical fragment screening is one of the key links in the construction driving cycle. This problem is widely adopted Duration intercept method and clustering analysis method. Both methods are subjective,and the requirements for data of working conditions is huge. Aimed at these shortages, Using multivariate statistical theory discriminate analysis method, differentiate and classify the condition data. Basing on the statistical analysis of condition data, establish the discriminate function. With a city as example, Driving Cycle is established. Based on the discriminate analysis, classify the driving data. The effectiveness of the driving cycle is confirmed. The result of comparing discriminate analysis and traditional method shows that the driving cycle based on discriminate analysis can accurately reflect the characteristics of different kinds of driving conditions, and the data demand is reduced, meanwhile, the data acquisition test is simpler, the cost of establishing a driving cycle is cut, and development cycle is reduced.

Abstract: The paper takes Liaobin New Town Low-carbon Ecological Plan as the research object, and explores the constructing process of Liaobin New Town Low-carbon Ecological Planning Indicator System (LCEPIS), mentions construction principles and methods; Secondly by analyzing regional condition, it assures the main paradox of regional development and the core of low-carbon ecological plan; Thirdly it mentions construction methods of the research object, sets up indicator system upon the procedure of frame assembling, indicator picking, indicator quantifying and indicator weighted value confirming; thirdly it introduces the specific calculating method as the indicator system is assessed and applied; finally we obtain the main outcome: Liaobin LCEPIS, meantime gain sub-conclusions such as initial picking library, chosen indicator and weight of indicator, etc. The research method could guide how to construct a regional plan indicator system, and obtained result could be referenced for similar plan indicator system.

Abstract: The thesis takes a three-lane tunnel construction in Zhejiang as an example. Simulating the course of dynamic construction of large-span tunnel on geology condition of four-grade rock mass and shallow buried by FLAC 3D software ,it carries out comparative and stress situation in the runnel surrounding rocks .Getting the displacement and stress changes rule of the construction by using benching with a small pilot tunnel tunneling method can guide the construction scientifically.

Abstract: Long-span and bifurcation tunnel engineering is not very common in underground engineering field. It is difficult to construct this complicated structure because of the numerous influencing factors. In order to find out the optimum construction method for long-span and bifurcation tunnel to guarantee construction security and stabilization of this project, six construction methods were compared and analyzed by using numerical simulation. The results show that: (1) The excavation of confluence segment and small interval tunnel can affect each other but the confluence segment is the crucial part of the whole project. (2) The vertical brace determines surrounding rock and preliminary support stabilization in confluence segment. (3) The central concrete between main tunnel and ramp tunnel is the key point to guarantee the construction security and stabilization of small interval tunnel. The above results certainly contribute to research and develop new types of construction methods for long-span and bifurcation tunnel engineering.

Abstract: To research the deformation regularity of large section loess tunnel in construction procession with different construction methods, 3D Numerical Simulation is applied and the large-section loess tunnel of highway is taken as an example. Comparing deformation regularity of surrounding rock in three types of construction method conditions, the research results show that:The CRD method takes precedence in the condition of the convergence of surrounding rock is large. The both sides heading method takes precedence in the condition of ground surface settlement is large.

Abstract: Carbon fiber material is a strengthened repair material that is new and efficient, and it has so many advantages such as excellent strength, efficiency, construction easily and extensive use. Corrosion-resistant and little section are the most important characteristics. Carbon fiber strengthened technology affix carbon fiber sheet to the surface of a member with epoxy binder of transferring character, thus causing the strengthened member and the improvement force of the member. The strengthened plan, design principle and construction courses are demonstrated by using carbon fiber composite reinforcement technology on little side and moisture condition. Carbon fiber is a kind of material which is extensive uses, endurance and corrosion-resistant according to project illustration, and it is exampled in similarity projects.

Abstract: There are a series problems that are caused by the complex geological and various types of foundation soil of the canal during the excavation process in the first stage of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, such as the different strength of the same rock, especially the undulating boundary of the rocks and the varying buried depth. The author made a detail research on the spatial distribution of the basic rocks and the calculation for the volume of the excavation to save the problems and calculate the excavation volume of the rocks with different strength, also the cross and vertical method were used to provide the necessary technology data and a technology support for planning and programming of project construction.

Abstract: To research the mechanics characteristic of support structure of shallow-buried large section loess tunnel with different construction methods, 3D Numerical Simulation is applied and the large-section loess tunnel of highway is taken as an example. Comparing mechanics characteristic of support structure in three types of construction method conditions, the research results show that:The Benching stepping method which caused large surrounding rock deformation can reduce the value of structural performance. While the Both side heading is just opposite.
