Abstract: Of the construction processes involved in high-rise building construction, core wall construction is a highly repetitive construction works. Therefore, the effective management of core wall construction works by a project manager can save costs and shorten the duration of high-rise building construction. This study analyzes a case in which a core structure succeeding method (CSSM) is applied to core wall construction. The results of the case study found that the efficiency of CSSM in terms of construction costs and duration is higher than that of the core wall preceding construction method (CWPCM).

Abstract: Traditional concrete revetment technology mainly focuses on the safety of engineering without taking the river ecological system protection into account. The ecological concrete revetment can properly combines the river slope sclerosis with green to keep the river ecological system sustainable develop. Ecological concrete revetment includes excavating, laying concrete frame, pouring ecological concrete, filling nutrition soil, planting vegetation, management and observation processes. The revetment of concrete hexagonal tile is suitable with excellent resistance to water washing out and good capability of fixing soil. Slop protection of concrete rectangular frame is used for its large scale and high efficiency of construction. Selecting native plants for greening materials is convenient of transplanting, it has low cost and high survival rate.

Abstract: By analyzing the points of construction process quality control in the building construction project and the relationship among quality control, cost control and schedule control, the main factors affecting the construction process quality control in the building construction project are given out, and a practical system is established. This system includes pre-construction quality planning, quality control, drawings reviewing technical tests, building products quality control, responsibility for quality and other aspects. The practical application of this system in some building construction projects proved its effectiveness in the project quality control.

Abstract: Schedule control is the major issue in project management, and to predict the construction schedule effectively is important practically. The article mainly predicts the schedule of a project based on BP neural network. The result shows that the predicted value is more accurate than the value calculated by linear method.

Abstract: In this paper, the mechanical behavior of excavation and support construction of Weishe tunnel, which is a section of the Yangwu expressway, is studied quantitatively using 3D finite difference numerical simulation method. A sequential excavation method is used and the results show that the vault settlement occurs mainly on the phase of upper bench excavation. The convergences of upper and lower sidewalls occur mainly on the phase of lower bench excavation. During the construction, the surrounding rock pressure in the vault and sidewall of the tunnel decrease. Axial force of anchor reaches the maximum value after the finish of second lining. However, the surrounding rock pressure and internal force of steel arch reach the maximum value after completing the upper bench excavation, and then become as smaller as half of the peak value during the lower bench excavation.

Abstract: Based on a dual-wall steel cofferdam, the configuration character and construction technology of the dual-wall steel cofferdam was introduced. The load of different construction stages of the steel cofferdam was studied. The mechanical properties of this structure under every construction stage were analyzed by the finite element method. Analytical result reveals that the maximal Von Mises stress of the dual-wall steel cofferdam was 197.73 MPa under the action of the most disadvantaged load combination. That met the strength requirements of the temporary structure.

Abstract: Xiaolan channel super large bridge is a stucture type adopted in the passenger dedicated railway line for the first time, and the longest span bridge of the passenger dedicated railway line, also the longest span bridge of the high-speed railway in the world with a total length of 7686.57m.. At first, the author compiles APDL command flow program by using the unit birth-death technique, establishes simulation calculation model in the construction process. The creep characteristics of concrete are also taken into account. The whole process of beam first-to-arch later stage construction are calculated and studied. Simulation Calculation and construction control research of Xiaolan channel super large bridge shows that construction control method is reasonable, the calculation program which is used in the paper is right, and using three dimensional substantiality finite element method and “element birth and death” to simulate construction process conform to reality. The bridge is safe in the construction of beam first and arch late.

Abstract: This paper presents the stress and strain distribution and change during the tunnel construction, and the stress and strain are compared with different construction methods. Mathematical model was firstly introduced. Then the stress and the strain during the up tunnel construction from two methods were compared. The historical stress and strain curves of key node of tunnel during the tunnel construction were analyzed. The different stress changes from different construction methods were compared. We can get the conclusion that the construction method affects the stress distribution and change.

Abstract: The left bank slope in JinpingⅠhydropower station is one of the highest slope with the maximum excavation and the worst stability conditions in the current hydro power stations in the world. Based on the combination of the elasto-viscoplastic finite element method and artificial neural networks, a model of back analysis of the mechanical parameters of slope is established. In this paper, the left bank slope (II1-II1) in JinpingⅠhydropower station is taken as an example.Construction procedure and anchor measures are simulated carefully; the key mechanical parameter of rock is back analyzed according to the monitored displacement; the real time forecast of deformation and stability of the rock slope are realized by this model based on the monitored displacement. Most of research results are taken as the references for the optimization of design and information construction in the practical engineering.

Abstract: Considering the transformation of the system and the increasing of the load in the construction process of long-span arch bridge, combining with the definite engineering example and calculating the construction process of arch bridge by using finite element method,focusing on the analysis of deformation and stress of arch bridge under the effect of shrinkage and creep in the process of construction.
