Abstract: The paper presents the surface structure formation of AISI 304 stainless steel using the MiniMarker2-20A4 laser system. Austenitic steel was in the form of a cold-rolled sheet and a tape of increased strength for parts and structures. The article reviews the corrosion-resistant steel surface condition after analyzing the influence of power, frequency and speed of the laser and evaluates the impact on the corrosion resistance of the treated surface. The contrast assessment shows the treated structure effect on the alloy surface reflectivity. The calculations of the most optimal marking are made for obtaining the greatest contrast. The maximum contrast obtained as a result of parameter optimization was 0.83 and was improved by 10%. The article also touches on the influence and susceptibility to corrosion of stainless steel samples with laser marking by QR codes. This point displays structural change of the processed area and presentations steel surface structure AISI 304 after corrosion tests.

Abstract: Malaria appears to be one of the main reasons for detrimental health issue at the global scale that is responsible for approximately half a million deaths every year. As the cases of malaria seem to escalate at an annual rate, it is vital to provide a rapid and accurate diagnosis through manual microscopic assessment in the attempt to control the spread of malaria. Nevertheless, varied staining steps and noise disruptions can cause inaccurate diagnosis due to wrong interpretation. Hence, to address such issues, this study investigated the performance upon removing background noise and the method of correcting illumination that has an impact upon segmentation for a computer-assisted diagnostic system. The findings display that the technique of based on Otsu threshold and statistic data used to enhance the contrast image as to determine cells infected by the malaria parasite, in comparison to other methods. In fact, this method was tested on 450 malaria images, which consisted of P. Vivax, P. Falciparum, and P. Knowlesi species at the stages of trophozoite, schizont, and gametocyte. As a result, the HSE approach yielded 1.31 for Global Contrast Factor (GCF), while 10.56 for Signal Noise Ratio (SNR).

Abstract: In this paper, PV module parameters of dust removal equipment are analyzed; the dust removal device model is established by using solidworks software; the motion simulation of removal process is conducted directly in solidworks motion simulation interface; a comparison of dust removal effects is made between the top-down and the left-to-right dust removal device at the same traction speed and brush dust removal brush rotation speed; a conclusion is drawn that brush traction speed, rotation speed, and helix angle have impact on dust removal effect and the two devices are close to each other in terms of dust removal effect, which provides some theoretical evidence for further design.

Abstract: There have been specified the principal tasks of the image preparation for the face recognition and criteria of the image quality evaluation. There has been proposed a method of the face tracking in a video stream, a search criterion of the similar images formulated and the current estimators of the contrasting effect and image sharpness analyzed. The method of lighting compensation and the angle control method on the basis of POSIT algorithm have been studied.

Abstract: Road maintenance management is highly recognized by governments and road administrations nowadays. The aim of this project is to define the mainly used road maintenance management approaches in Britain and China, then compare and contrast the similarities and differences between them. The approaches of institutional management, financial management and operational management of the road maintenance will be introduced. It can be concluded that management efficiency would be greatly improved if the road administrators could learn from each other.

Abstract: In Armenia there are determined new tendencies for interior design in particular public areas. Here in the article we would like to emphasize on post soviet time national values declaim or dramatically extravagant contemporary solutions in the architecture, based on as called modern but out-of-taste restaurants, trading houses and especially luxury houses designed interior where modern and comfort environmental atmosphere is just adjusted for nowadays life. After all this tendency created a new way in architecture, where it could be seen different periods comprehensions expressed in the same area and possibility to create an atmosphere of new architectural historical environment where it is possible to detach modern and antique styles as well as create contrast in the harmony.

Abstract: In order to enhance the image contrast obtained in fog or haze, an optimized algorithm that based on the modified Retinex module is proposed. According to the defects of the traditional Retinex algorithm, such as high complexity and the halo phenomenon, this method enhanced the image global contrast by modifying the illumination component, and corrected the reflection component using nonlinear function. The experimental results showed that it can increase foggy image clearness quickly, adjust the image brightness effectively and overcome time-consuming drawback of original algorithm that greatly improve the efficiency and speed.

Abstract: Copper is one of the most valuable metals in the daily production activities of human beings. Its consumption can indicate the changes in economic structure. The regularity of copper development in the U.S. has a very far-reaching significance as well as reference value to China. This paper is based on date of copper production and consumption in China and U.S. contrasted and analyzed the development trend. The results show that the curve presented by the consumption of copper in the U.S. doesn’t totally comply with the “S” shaped rules which put forward by above-mentioned scholars, but presents the typical “M” shaped rules. The increase of China’s demand for copper, while since 1998, hasn’t presented t the “S” shaped rules, which is common among other industrialized countries, but presented the typical inverted “U” shaped rules.

Abstract: In a condom sorting process, we need to shoot the state image of condom through the camera and do the ellipse detection to determine the front position of condom on the conveyor belt, so developing the image processing algorithms which can detect the condom ring is necessary. The algorithm based on the Hough circle detection can obtain better detection effect for the most forms of the condom ring position, but it can not correctly detect the circle when the image shows linear shape; the algorithm based on the contrast of the ring detection get better effect on the ring in the image showing linear, while it has a low recognition rate in more folded case. We combined the two algorithms to use, proposed a combined algorithm which overcame the respective shortcomings of the two algorithms. Verified by experiment, the results of detection, recognition rate and the average processing time show the combined algorithms get the best comprehensive effect.

Abstract: Tailings are sand like waste what is made by concentrator which elected the valuable concentrate with metallic or non-metallic mining ores. Tailings disposal methods are affected by the topographic and geologic conditions, physical and mechanical properties of tailings, the state environmental control standards and many other factors. Especially the huge differences of each countrys topographic and geologic conditions always lead to the disposal of tailings in very different ways. This paper comparatively analyses the tailings disposal methods of China and Australia. And the evolution of Australias tailings disposal in four generation and the history, current situation and development direction of our countrys tailings disposal are discussed in detail. Then the development direction of tailings disposal is summed at the end.
