Abstract: The paper presents the architecture of the mission planning training simulator of the autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) "Edredon". The structure of the simulator is based on a mission planning site, designed by the Polish-Japanese School of Computing, located in the USV command post. Its software allows not only for planning the ASV’s route but also for implementing the training process of an operator preparing the route.

Abstract: This paper presents the analysis of the variety of methods regarding aerial guided bomb control during the ground attack on a moving target. Based on this method there was an earlier research regarding motion control of the three degrees of freedom gyroscope axis [1,2] during space exploration and discovered target tracking. Positive results obtained during that research led to conclusion that the proposed control method will be accurate to establish a control force for aerial bomb guiding. This method is based on the use of phase trajectories control deviations. Switching of the control forces in the particular phase plane points causes the deviations to decrease to zero and facilitates the proper trajectory of the bomb. This paper presents a switching algorithm, equations of kinematics and dynamics of a bomb flight-path and the variety of examples of a numerical simulations. Obtained results were presented in the graphic form.

Abstract: The Observation and Tracking Head is used for automatic searching, observing and tracking targets that are to be destroyed. The paper presents the designed fuzzy controller used to control the location of head axis. The dynamics of the controlled head during the search and tracking of the target was analysed. The results of numerical research are presented in a graphical form.

Abstract: The article presents use of a linguistic fuzzy-logic control (LFLC) system for mechatronic system modelling and control. The presented applications were verified on real laboratory tasks in the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems at the University of Ostrava. The LFLC system was developed at the University of Ostrava, Institute for Research and Applications of Fuzzy Modeling. This technology enables users to describe the system behaviour and/or the control strategy as a set of fuzzy rules. Input and output variables scales are defined by contexts and their change allows using the same system description for systems with similar behaviour very easily.

Abstract: This paper proposes a new approach to achieving the command and control modules that can be embedded in smart home building. As a result of this new approach, the house, which in the classical sense, corresponds to everyday family activities, becomes a place that can be monitored and controlled in real time, to ensure comfort their occupants. The embedded equipment can be sensors for data collection, actuators for operating various functions and a control unit which records data on which decisions can be made complex. The software programming used is Lab View. The challenge is determining how "smart home" is able to communicate with all components.

Abstract: In the days of fierce competition, rapid changes and new technologies, production, and above all, production planning and control cannot be implemented in isolation to changes in the market. The ability to quickly adjust to changes, being flexible is now essential for high tech companies. One of the key area of production management, that must continuously evolve by searching for new methods and tools for increasing the efficiency of decision-making process is the area of production planning and control. In solving the problems associated with production planning are increasingly used advanced simulation programs. They support the planners, especially in situations related to changes in the assortment, or the introduction of new products into the market. A practical example of using the simulation program for production planning is presented in the paper. It is shown that an advanced simulation program can be an effective tool used in decision making area. The construction of the model, and performed experiments are crucial for enterprises where among other things punctuality and flexibility are the most important elements. A short time for the results of the simulation allows for quick response and, if necessary, make changes to the model by planners to achieve the best results with the given parameters associated with the required to complete the production orders.

Abstract: Nowadays in the era of advanced stage of Lean Manufacturing concept forces manufacturers to research of new idea of the production flow organization and to implement more and more innovative organizational solutions. The article presents the authors concept of implementation the combination of continuous flow and concurrent multi assortment production. Continuous flow is an approach to discrete manufacturing that contrast with batch production and is associated with just-in-time and Kanban production. The goal is an optimal balanced line. The paradigm aim is to achieve single-piece flow. For this purpose the similarity of the products that use the shared resources and start their production one by one in a predetermined sequence is searched. In addition, it is recommended to transform the internal setup into external one for eliminating investment in set-up times. This concept is similar to the group technology developed down in 70’s and based on the classification of products into four groups.

Abstract: The extra-atmospheric aircraft model is established, and then the control system is designed. The control system consist of attitude control system and orbit control system, the attitude control system used PID controller and the orbit control system used augmented proportional navigation method. The traditional Proportional Navigation (PN) guidance law has higher accuracy. But for highly maneuvering targets, the accuracy of traditional PN guidance law is still not enough. An Augmented Proportional Navigation (APN) guidance law is designed, an acceleration compensation of the target is introduced on the basis of PN guidance law to overcome the effect of the acceleration on the guidance accuracy. And the engine control method is designed based on the fixed engine thrust. Simulation results indicated that, for homing against maneuverable targets, the APN guidance law is better than the PN guidance law in the following aspects: guidance accuracy is higher, miss distance is lower, interception time is shorter. And the new guidance law provides significant performance improvements over the commonly used classical proportional navigation law.

Abstract: In this paper, authors propose a new method of disturbance estimation that can be used for marine and air vehicles. As stability area for nonlinear systems is connected with performance of estimation, indirect measurement is proposed to estimate the error. The base for calculation is vehicle accelerations provided by navigation system. New algorithms were tested in simulation for which authors developed a block diagram of indirect adaptive control system that features independence of estimator from controller. Analysis of results showed that the error of the developed estimator in transient mode is 30-40% less than error of the linear estimator. In steady state mode, gain of the proposed estimator is equal to gain of the linear estimator and output noise is the same. Simulated system was implemented in mini motor boat, and showed good results in experiment. New estimator allowed to increase the accuracy of moving along the paths.
