Abstract: In view of the toxicology and hazardous nature of the submicron particles, it is paid more and more attentions of the domestic and foreign research scholars. In this paper, we introduce the research progress on recognition, attributed and formation mechanism of submicron particles in the world. Simultaneously, the controlling technologies of submicron particles are discussed. The application tendency and the existence problems of the controlling technologies are analyzed. At last, the future research directions are put forward for submicron particles control.

Abstract: The difference between seismic caused by blasting and earthquake has been analyzed and the destructive effect of blasting seismic also been discussed. The typical seismic controlling technology such as choosing explosives reasonably, limitting the charge which blasting at the same time, dispersing charge, using millisecond blasting, selecting reasonable charging structure, excavating damping ditch and using pre-splitting blasting technology has been discussed.

Abstract: Deformation of slope for all section is almost the same while the width of slope along the strike is large enough, that is plane deformation. If the width is small, then cannot analyze according to the plane problem. According to above method, slope deformation of concave base is 3D problem if excavates a limited width concave conveyor belt alone the slope dip in open-pit mine. In this article, the relation between excavation width and deformation is analyzed by 3D numerical simulation method, on the basis of some mine actual geological occurrence conditions, meanwhile, calculative equation among deformation geometry and limit equilibrium is established to evaluate concave base slope stability. Concave base slope for conveyor belt is 32% for deformation of plane mode slope in light of numerous simulation result, and the stability coefficient can be improved by 0.5 through case studies analysis. So, the safety of belt transport system is ensured.

Abstract: In most machining operations undersirable burr or negative burr is created at workpiece edges. The burr/negative burr formation mechanism is analyzed based on shear strain which is obtained from simulation results of the finite element model of burr/negative burr forming process. To varify the simulation results, experiments are conducted. We observered that there exists a critical value of shear strain for burr/negative burr transformation. Burr or negative burr, which to be formed at workpiece edges can be controlled by adjusting the cutting conditions or tool geometric parameters. Edge quality of workpiece can be controlled by converting burr or negative burr forming.
