Abstract: A model of the magnitude of the stresses of the tip of the cutting blades of a thread-forming tool based on the theory of a homogeneous body is proposed. A model of second-order materials is considered. A description of the stress state is given using two stress tensors independent of each other.

Abstract: The reported paper presents a field pattern of sliding lines in a plastic zone of flow chip formation in the process of cutting metals considered for front and rear angles on the cutting blade other than zero. Equations of sliding lines for these conditions are proposed. Using calculation data, plasticity zone border lines are plotted for positive and negative front angles. The paper suggests methods and calculation data on average stress and plane stress state components in nodal points of the plastic zone of chip formation. The study provides data for plotting distribution diagrams of normal and tangential stresses of contact stresses on work surfaces of a cutting blade.

Abstract: We developed reciprocating cutter, then use software ADAMS to optimize and improve it. The output of simulation shows that the cutter performance is good, while vibration problem exists at the same time.

Abstract: In this paper, we report that the experimental results of fabricated diamond-metal composite film. Electrotyping method was used to deposit the thick film. During the deposition, low internal stress electrolytic solution, the electric current density of cathode, PH value, temperature, the distance between cathode and anode, the pretreatment of motherboard cathode were selected simultaneously. It was found that stirring strongly affected the quality of the film. Especially stirring velocity affected the distribution of diamond grains. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to measure the surface morphology, the crystal microstructure, diamond grains distribution and the chemical environment of the film.
