Abstract: The main objective of this study is to analyze the influence of joint interface on mechanical behavior of two cylinders by modeling different geometry with Finite Element Method (FEM). The structures are continuum model (CM), joint interface model with different materials (JIM1) and joint interface model with same materials (JIM2). The displacement-load relationship, equivalent plastic strain (EPS), deformation and contact pressure based on three models are gained. FEM results indicate that under the same load, the displacements of three models are various in loading and unloading processes. The EPSCM is relative stable originally and then decerase quickly while the EPSJIM1 and EPSJIM2 grow rapidly and fall slowly later. The deformation of CM, JIM1 and JIM2 under 300Mpa are 62.5μm, 33μm and 68.13μm respectively. The contact pressure of JIM1 is smaller than JIM2. The effects of frictional coefficients (vary from 0 to 1.0) on deformation and contact pressure are also investigated. Results show that joint interface make the structure’s behaviors different compared with continuum structure and this study can provide reference for the design of structures with joint interface in machinery.

Abstract: This contribution is focused on the analyze the possibilities of increasing the power of two-stroke internal combustion engine and their consequential execution in the practice. Currently dealing with these issues major manufacturers of motorcycle international brands, but also service technicians of professional riders, as well as regular users of motorcycles. The basic objective of this paper is the issue of increasing power output for single-trace motor vehicles, and objective of the experiment was to increase performance through volumetric efficiency, i.e. increase indicated mean effective pressure. The results of the experiment were tested on the specific equipments and in practice. In conclusion paper presents the benefits and results of the experiment. By means of measurements on the performance brake, in the final stage of paper is tested by how much increased power output of the engine after modification, compared to the production engine.

Abstract: The problem on radial oscillations of an elastic cylinder with inhomogeneous residual stress (RS) is considered. Two acoustic techniques of RS reconstructing are suggested. Within the framework of the first method, a set of radial displacement values is assumed to be known, while the frequency is fixed. Within the framework of the second method, the radial displacement value at the outer radius is assumed to be known for a set of frequencies. The examples of numerical identification experiments are presented.

Abstract: This paper designs an intelligent automatic mounting machine . For the purpose of reducing the steps of remodeling of excess asphalt and saving asphalt concrete . Before paving mixing , it laid two rows of fixed and adjustable thickness of the side-mode and mold clamp on both sides of the road . The results show that it avoids the process of removing the extra asphalt, saving raw materials, improving the efficiency of the paving . Mainly describe control system , especially pneumatic system.

Abstract: The coal mine hoisting equipment is one of the most important equipmentin coal mine, largely determine the total production capacity of the mine. Compared with the international advanced level, there is a considerable gap between the many coal mine enterprises, especially the plate chain bucket elevator is more big gap.On the upgrading of equipment for technological transformation, improve reliability, economic operation, reduce the accident rate, are of great significance to the oldmine.

Abstract: A method to predict the milling deformation of the cylinders deck face was carried out, and FEA technology was used in the research about machining deformation of the thin-walled part. In this work, a simple thin-walled part was taken as an example. The milling deflection of the workpiece had been predicted by establishing a FEA model. Finally, FEA results were verified with milling experimental data, which provided a theoretical basis for technology improvement of cylinders manufacture process.

Abstract: Cylinder is a common object and used in logistics industry, such as liquid container like wine. The performance of tags that are used on these objects declines, especially the read range and the radiation pattern of the tag. In this paper, a type of UHF tag antenna directly mountable on the cylinder surface. In order to reduce the impact of the deformation, the tag is designed with meander-line but not symmetrical. Antenna is combined with T-matching network to ensure good impedance matching. Compared with the basic dipole antenna tag both cylinder and plane surface, we can get the prominent feature of the tag proposed in this paper.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the existing problems of acting lapping pressure in lapping internal holes of main cylinder of brake-pump with solid abrasives, proposes a new type of solid abrasives supporting method, namely, three supportting points acting lapping pressure method. The method improves pressure distribution between solid abrasives and the surface of the machined workpiece, which is favorable to increase cylindricity of machined hole.Through actual machining process, new method is demonstrated increasing cylindricity accuracy of machined holes of main cylinder significantly.

Abstract: The present study is a preliminary effort which investigates the effect of different sequences of composite materials on the Von Mises stress and stress concentration factor on a simple thin cracked plate. Our approach is to reduce the design of cylinder under internal pure pressure to that of a cracked metal plate reinforced by different sequences layers of composite subjected to a tensile loading. Four reports of the length of the crack front (a) with respect to the thickness (t) of the structure were analyzed. The increased ratio (a/t) from 10% to 40% positively influences the values of stress intensity factors and the Von Mises stress. Finally, the numerical results show that the reinforced the cracked structure with composite layers has greatly reduced the stress intensity factor at the crack tip based on fiber orientations.

Abstract: This paper evaluates numerically some of the parameters involved in modeling the process of frost formation over a cold cylinder surface subject to the flow of humid air. Was utilized for numerical predictions the empirical Nusselt correlation from the literature, obtained in experimental studies on frost formation phenomena of frost grow over a cold cylinder surface. To predict frosting process a numerical solution was utilized, and a new correlation for Nusselt number based on the experimental correlation of Kim was estimated. For the new Nusselt correlation an optimization method that adjusts the numerical solution of modeling the frost formation process with experimental results of the frost layer thickness was used. The calculation procedure allows the estimation of the parameter K of equation. The modeling process was validated by comparison with available experimental data.
