Abstract: Focused on the operation management of equipment, the workflow of NC equipment informatization management was deeply analyzed in this article. The functional structure of equipment management system was studied here. And, the equipment information management system was developed based on B/S structure. The system was applied to manage the basic information, Spare parts and Maintenance of the NC Equipment by way of information and automation, and realize the traceability of equipment maintenance and spare parts management throughout the whole Life Cycle. The alete integration of the Equipment Information Management System and other system, such as DNC, MES and ERP, was realized. And the integrated system effectively promoted the information interaction between layer of enterprise, workshop and equipment.

Abstract: The paper introduced the method and technology of how to implement a Integrated Manufacturing, each CNC machining equipment is equipped with a special communication unit, each communication unit are directly connected with the DNC main control computers on the Internet, effect of special communication unit is mainly data buffer and protocol conversion, the TCP/IP protocol is used between communication unit and DNC main control Internet computer, and used serial communication protocol communication between communication unit and NC equipment. Using this technology, all kinds of CNC machining equipment and DNC system can be easily with the CAD/CAM/CAE system, digital profile measurement system, fault diagnosis and error compensation of intelligent system integration, providing good technical conditions for further information of various advanced manufacturing environment integration.

Abstract: This paper introduces an ARM Distributed Numerical Control System Design Based on CAN-Bus. It analyzed each parts function, hardware circuit and program. The design of interface and the driver of CAN Bus under Linux is the core of this paper. This system combines the distributed control of CAN-Bus with high-speed operation and precision of ARM. Systems resource utilization and real-time has improved. The flexibility and versatility are its advantage.

Abstract: DNC is a typical way of integrating manufacturing information. In order to provide information for managers and technicians, this paper firstly researches on manufacturing information integration model based on DNC, and then designs the architecture of the workshop network and the mode of information exchange through Ethernet on analysis of manufacturing information stream. It also presents a method of information acquisition from NC machine. Finally, the validity of the model and network is verified by implementation of the manufacturing information integration system.

Abstract: The network manufacturing technology of CNC machine tools can greatly increase their manufacturing efficiency, reduce production costs, enhance competitiveness and has significant practical significance. The paper studied the communication techniques used in CNC machine tool, took the programs developed in the practical application for example, described the process of preparing the application serial communication, completed the overall design of the structure of DNC system.

Abstract: DNC is referred to as the Direct Numerical Control, Intended for direct digital control. It means a number of numerical control equipment directly connected to a computer, and the central computer in charge of the NC program’s management and transfer. At present, DNC system includes not only the NC program, but also the manufacturing data of the specific tasks required for the production, such as cutting tools data, scheduling, configuration information of machine tools, and so on, and part of the DNC system also has the functions of machine tool state acquisition and remote control.

Abstract: In order to avoid communication conflicts in DNC systems, the scheduling tactics adopting a modified guaranteed EDF algorithm to DNC systems’ numerical control (NC) programs transmission was proposed. A condition was given to guarantee all NC machines in DNC systems work continuously. A mathematic model based on the actual expending rate of NC program was established to decide the priority of NC program transformation of all NC machines. A constraint condition for two machines with neighbored priority was proposed to avoid the conflict in the scheduling times. A dynamic scheduling scheme was presented for DNC systems. The validity of the presented method is verified by the practical tests.

Abstract: Aim at the communication problems of computer and NC machine tool, a practical DNC system is developed in this paper. A three-layer control structure mode – which is composed by the unit layer, DNC computer workstation layer and NC system equipment layer – is presented. Based on its good real-time capability and high reliability, CAN field-bus is introduced into the DNC communication system construction, the network topology is constructed and related hardware is chosen properly. Using VC++6.0 as development tool, and assisted with special compiling tools LEX&YACC, 3D standard graphic library OpenGL and database Microsoft Access, and based on the multi-task and multi-thread technologies, the software of the system is developed. The system has the characteristics of reliable operation, simple structure and high real-time capability, can improve the efficiency of NC machining process obviously, and has a certain application prospect in the middle and small scale manufacturing enterprises of our country.

Abstract: As one of major methods to meet information integration of numerical control machines in workshop, DNC (Direct Numerical Control or Distributed Numerical Control) oriented networked manufacturing (Web-DNC system) differs dramatically from conventional ones by having: (1) concurrently supporting networked manufacturing; (2) sharing the numerical control machines via network; (3) optimizing the configuration and reorganization of numerical control resources. This paper deals with the key technologies of Web-DNC system, including: the implementing architecture model with four layers (user layer, service layer, agent layer and facility layer) and the topology architecture. The BL2000 SCM is selected as a COM server to meet the required capabilities of DNC controller. Compared with the communication architecture with fieldbus, a simpler function model of DNC communication technology based on Ethernet technology is presented. A Web-DNC system prototype is developed and proved to be effective in information integration of numerical control machines in injecton workshop.
