Abstract: After investigating the residual current protection and its major deficiencies, it is found out that the touch/Leakage current could be separated from the total residual current by the current separation technology , which is based on the phase relationship between normal residual current and touch/leakage current. A novel leakage current protection principle without protection dead-zone is proposed .The proposed method, which is put into practice on DSP , proves to be accurate and feasible in digital simulations. Compared to the existing techniques based on the residual current amplitude or its variation,the proposed method can eliminate protection dead-zone effectively and improve the reliability of protection devices drastically.

Abstract: This paper proposes a method of realizing a moving vehicle video detecting system based on DSP processor, and describes the system's hardware architecture and software design in detail. Based on the characteristic of dual-core of DM6437 processor, the methods of communication protocol between ARM and DSP, as well as the double-buffer switching method are presented. Background modeling is made on the traffic video data from DM6437 via difference accumulation. Background subtraction is used to detect vehicle movement areas. With the adoption of algorithms such as Otsu, morphological filtering and region growing, the whole system is finally realized on the DM6446 hardware platform. Experimental results show that the system achieves good performance on moving vehicle detection.

Abstract: This paper has a discussion and research on the design and realization of the speech recognition robot based on embedded system and DSP. The solution of embedded system and DSP has made the performance, cost, reconfigurable ability and extensible ability of the system to a high level. And the system has adapted the modified MFCC method to extract the feature of the speech and used the HMM model based on K segmented equalizing value to do the speech study and recognition. It has improved the transplanting and real-time ability of the arithmetic.

Abstract: Aiming at the disunity problems of the interface types and protocols existing in the communication between the touch screen and the DSP controller, this paper puts forward a kind of communication method based on MODBUS protocol of the Mitsubishi touch screen and DSP controller. By using a standard RS232 interface and MODBUS RTU data transmission format realize the asynchronous communication between GOT touch screen and TMS320F2812 controller. Through the RS485 bus, DSP achieves the communication with ABB frequency converters. Using this method Mitsubishi touch screen, DSP and frequency converter finished communication. So that touch screen can display the working status of the ABB frequency converters in real time. It has been verified by test that data transmission is reliable and good real-time.

Abstract: According to the trend of the intelligent monitoring system, on the basis of the study of gait recognition algorithm, the intelligent monitoring system is designed based on FPGA and DSP; On the one hand, FPGA’s flexibility and fast parallel processing algorithms when designing can be both used to avoid that circuit can not be modified after designed; On the other hand, the advantage of processing the digital signal of DSP is fully taken. In the feature extraction and recognition, Zernike moment is selected, at the same time the system uses the nearest neighbor classification method which is more mature and has good real-time performance. Experiments show that the system has high recognition rate.

Abstract: In this paper, we discuss the applications of UC/OS-II and DSP(digital signal processor) in area of harmonic analyzing. In this research, the FFT algorithm is employed, and the realization of FFT on DSP is discussed. The whole system is based on UC/OS-II operation system, which coordinate all the tasks about the system. The system based on DSP+ARM and UC/OS-II improve the reliability and real time quality. The hardware design and software design are proposed in this paper, with flow chart and part of routine codes shown.

Abstract: In this paper, a set of voltage disturbance detection device based on DSP2812 was designed and a method of transient voltage disturbance detection based on DSP and Wavelet Transform was studied. The device collects electrical signal through a Hall sensor and the parallel A/D converter and regards TMS320F2812, a kind of high-performance digital signal processor (DSP), as a core data processing unit. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) algorithm on DSP board was carried out to detect transient voltage disturbance. Software modules including the main program module, A/D module, interrupt module, communication module and so on was designed. The DWT algorithm on DSP board which could detect transient voltage disturbance on line was carried out based on the strong operation ability of DSP and the high effectiveness of DWT algorithm. This device can simultaneously realize power acquisition and voltage disturbance analysis in real-time. Contrast tests show that the device is of high-precision, of high-data-processing-speed and has a capability of voltage disturbance detecting in real-time.

Abstract: In present paper, a DSP-based image capturing and transmitting system is described. As a shortage of peripherals on DSP, external image capturing and data transmitting components are needed in this case. A CMOS image sensor was used to capture images, and an Ethernet MAC controller with PHY was used to transmit image data. In addition, a CPLD was used as the co-controller for timing control. ARP, IP and UDP were functioning during data transmitting through Ethernet. The Driving Mechanism of two main chips and implementing of the protocols were described in detail. Images displayed on the PC show that the system provids good performance. The system is low-cost, simple and low-power.
