Abstract: This research work is targeted at building and analyzing a robotic arm which mimics the motion of the human arm of the user. The propsed system monitors the motion of the user’s arm using a Kinect. Using the “Kinect Skeletal Image” project of Kinect SDK, a skeletal image of the arm is obtained which consists of 3 joints and links connecting them. 3-D Coordinate Geometry techniques are used to compute the angles obtained between the links. This corresponds to the angles made by the different segments of the human arm. In this work we present the capturing of human hand gestures by Kinect and analyzing it with suitable algorithms to identify the joints and angles. Also the arduino based microcontroller used for processing Kinect data is presented.

Abstract: Based on the technology of non-contact measurement, this paper has researched on complex curved surface physical modeling and data conversion technology, and has been applied to the human body modeling and data conversion in costume design. The measurement principle of grating projection is used to collect the point cloud data of surface of the physical model in a three-dimensional space. The point cloud data should be preprocessed with noise rejection, multi-view stitching and data reduction by Geomagic Studio software. Then the relatively regular surface area can be gotten by using parameter transformation, through two different ways. After that, the model surface data should be converted into Solidworks parts. By comparison and optimization, a better three-dimensional surface is gotten. A standard database of human body model has been set up and the main parameters of human body model data will be obtained by combined with non-contact three-dimensional measurement system. After all, part of the parameterization of the physical model has been realized through the work of invoking the model of the standard library, comparing the standard model with measured body model, doing the error analysis and so on.

Abstract: ETL is a key link in the construction of data warehouse. On the base of analyzing the mainstream ETL tool Datastage, the data extraction, transformation and loading, proposes a ETL framework based on data processing, and the realization method and steps are discussed in detail. The framework uses HIVE as a data processing station, improve the operating efficiency of the file; data task according to the E, T and L three parts and hierarchical partitioning, conversion of data users to better grasp the process; development data using the configuration file of the task, the development personnel free out from the heavy code, will to shift the focus of the work to the data logical task, which has greatly improved the efficiency of development personnel data processing.

Abstract: With the development of electric power system, the use of one single electric power simulation software about large power grid can't meet the needs of the actual research any more. As the data of PSASP, BPA and other software can't be universal, developing a data interface program to realize data file sharing is of great concern. In this paper, based on the template matching method, power system network model and the control model itself of different software are compared and studied, and the template database was designed according to the results of the analysis. Data convert from BPA and PSASP to the third party software is realized.

Abstract: The design and construction of the stiffening steel truss bridge is a complex and large-scale professional program. The abstract of the plans and the weaknesses of the view angles to the design sketch will also become limitations to the owners and the decision makers. Based on the project of Baling River Bridge of large stiffening steel truss girders, this study creates a three-dimensional fine model for it via CAD, pre-assembles each parts of the bridge, and checks sections and dockings one to one correspondingly. Data conversion of this model directly generates virtual visualized model. This visualized fine model of Baling River Bridge provides decision makers with a visual analysis platform, which also offers technical guarantee and support for sensible decision makings.

Abstract: In the analysis of the GOCAD SGrid model and the FLAC3D hexahedral mesh model, a method of converting the former to the latter is proposed, and the data conversion program is prepared based on VB.NET. The purpose of building complex models in FLAC3D quickly is achieved, and the FLAC3D simplifies the pre-processing largely. Finally, the feasibility of the method is verified by a practical project.

Abstract: With the rise and rapid development of the systems biology, in order to explore the relationship between different levels of Bioinformatics relevance, the need of integrated visualization of biological scientific computing data at different levels is increasingly urgent. This paper propses a molecular structure and genome sequence synthesized visualization metadata model, and then implements the integration management of the visualization data of molecular structure and genome sequence. This method can effectively support the development of visualization capabilities of molecular structure and gene sequence. Based on the XML technology, by deep researching in the field of visualization data format and applying this synthesized visualization metadata model, this paper designs and introduces the conversion method for visualization data of molecular structure and genome sequence. Ultimately, based on this synthesized visualization metadata model, a synthesized visualization prototype system for molecular structure and gene sequence (VMG) has been developed.
