Abstract: This research mainly focused on the properties of decorative white cement tiles which made from waste glass and white cement. The ratio of waste glass powder and white cement were studied at 10 : 90, 15 : 85, 20 : 80, 30 : 70, 40 : 60, 50 : 50, 60 : 40 and 70 : 30 by using water content at 30 %wt. All components were mixed and cast into the mould. Decorative white cement tiles were curing at 14, 21 and 28 days. In order to characterize physical and mechanical properties, all tiles were measured density, water absorption and compressive strength. According to the results, it can be obviously seen that density increased and water absorption decreased with increasing waste glass powder content. The highest compressive strength of around 36.5 MPa was found at 20 %wt of waste glass powder. However, compressive strength decreased with increasing waste glass powder over 20 %wt (waste glass powder 20: white cement 80). It was found that the lowest compressive strength of around 30.58 MPa was found at 70 %wt of waste glass powder. Curing time also affected properties as it was found that increasing curing time to 28 days resulted in increasing of density and compressive strength. In order to study how long does essential oil last on decorative white cement tiles, the orange essential oil at 1, 5 and 10 %wt were added into the white cement paste by using waste glass powder : white cement at 20 : 80 with 30 %wt of water. Decorative white cement tiles were smelled by 30 people every morning for 30 days and it can be found that 10 %wt of orange essential oil last longest on the decorative white cement tiles with 22 days.

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of dolomite body, frit and potassium feldspar on the properties of color slip for decorative method of color slip on earthen ware production. The characterization of raw material was analyzed by X-ray fluorescence (XRF). The experiment started with triaxial blend of dolomite body, frit and potassium feldspar in the defined ratio and then to painting of color slips on earthenware production. After that, firing specimens at 950 °C in oxidation atmosphere. Finally, the specimens were tested microstructure and physical properties. The results showed that the ratio of 50% dolomite body, 40% frit and 10% potassium feldspar were optimum properties for decorative on earthenware body. In color slip consisting of blue color added Cobalt oxide 1% ,Green colors added chromic oxide 10% , Gray color added manganese oxide 10% ,yellow color added stain 2225 10% and hazel color added ferric oxide 2 wt %.

Abstract: Within the research presented in this article the attention was paid to the study of microstructure of lightweight and decorative renders. The composition of these renders was modified using alternative raw materials in amount of 5 % substituting the finest aggregate fractions. For evaluation of microstructure and its changes the combination of three methods SEM, XRD and DTA was used. Samples for the analysis were prepared from 90-day old specimens. The reason was the evaluation of material structural changes within the mid-term scale because considering the character and amount of used raw materials including the results of physical-mechanical tests no more significant changes were assumed in a short-term period. The performed analyses showed only inessential changes in microstructure of modified materials in comparison with the results of physical-mechanical tests.

Abstract: The article presents results of the research focused on modification of special lightweight plasters with decorative function. Several raw material types from secondary resources were used for the formula modifications. The finest fraction of aggregates, i.e. to 0.2mm was replaced with these raw materials. The attention was mainly paid to the thermal technical, diffusion and capillary-sorptive parameters. Except expanded perlite the influence of substitution components did not took any significant effects.

Abstract: Use the electrochromic coating technology and the driving installation design could show various metallic color brilliance of the metallic material bracelet by this device. Experimental observations show that the green base color will transform to pink then blue and the pink base color transform to green then blue.

Abstract: In this experiment, we use the opaque mirror stainless steel as the substrate to investigate decorative color variations after insertion of the Na+ ion in the film and prescribe the combination coating film with reversible and excellent coating characteristics. In manufacturing of the coating film, reactive gas pass through the metal tungsten target and form the amorphous tungsten oxide thin film on stainless steel and the various colors, such as green and pink color, on the mirror stainless by adjusting the process parameters. The coating film device then immerse in sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution and induce cyclic potential of -2V~+2V. Base color of stainless steel produce the color change reaction by inserting Na+ in the film. Experimental observations show that the green base color will transform to pink then blue and the pink base color transform to green then blue.
