Abstract: There have been no breakthroughs in ferrous metallurgy for the last 80 years. Automation and digitalization arrived, while the actual steel making processes saw almost no changes. Today, almost all industries experience rapid changes. In 2018 we will see a launch of trains that can travel as fast as1,200 km/h. In 2022 we will see aircrafts capable of flying from London to New York in 1 hour. They already know how to grow human arms and legs. And driverless taxis have become extremely popular. Should we be expecting to see a major breakthrough in metallurgy any time soon? In this paper you will learn about this and other problems, as well as possible ways to solve them. Also, the paper focuses on the results of the development of theory, mathematical models and novel processes, which were helpful in the forming of the ultra-high strength materials by combining the conventional methods of forming such as stamping, plate rolling, plastic bending and asymmetrical rolling. The ultimate aim was to manufacture parts having complex geometries of ultra-high strength sheets. Metalworking techniques like asymmetrical rolling gave rise to very high shear strains and it was used for increasing the strength of the materials. The addition of the incremental sheet forming to the varied combinations of conventional forming processes was used for increasing in the flexibility of the manufacturing process for ultra-high strength. The results of the research project were also encompassing numerical simulation and experimental investigations of the combined process accompanied by the development of the theoretical models for the same.

Abstract: To increase the development efficiency of reservoirs, methods to intensify inflows and enhance oil recovery are applied. The geological and field experience of applying these methods shows that a high technological effect can be reached in specific geological and geophysical conditions while in other conditions efficiency will be insignificant. In this relation, an important solution for this problem is the justification of selecting the most efficient technologies of stimulating pay zones. The research objective is to select the most optimal technologies of stimulating pay zones to increase the development scope and enhance oil recovery. Using geological and field analysis, a complex quantitative assessment was done for the efficiency of using methods to enhance oil recovery and stimulate pay zones in both production and injection wells.

Abstract: Oil recovery factor (ORF) assessment for sites of the Sredne-Ugutskoye field was performed applying various methods. For this field, the ORF prognostic assessment applying the existing methodological approaches is very relevant, as well as the selection of the most appropriate and accurate ORF calculation methods, taking into account the specific features of the geological structure of formations and reservoirs. The research objective is to obtain an adequate assessment of the ORF for productive sites of the Sredne-Ugutskoye field. With the help of a whole group of methods (analogy, empirical-analytical and empirical-statistical methods), predictive calculations of the ORF value for a number of Jurassic-age development sites were performed.

Abstract: Borehole seismology allows studying the specific features of the geological structure and physical properties of deposits in the borehole environment using waves of various kinds based on the analysis of characteristics of these waves, their rates propagation, attenuation, space polarization, and the nature of rock anisotropy. The research is intended to study the wave fields of various types of waves taking into account their dynamic, speed and polarization characteristics and the features of geological structure both in the vicinity to the borehole and laterally in the crosshole space. Using the borehole seismology method, the geological structure of reservoirs was specified; a prediction was given as to the development of enhanced reservoir units in the crosshole space.

Abstract: CWSS in Kotamobagu has various problems such as, pipe water network that has not been operated optimally since its completion in 2012. The number of house connections was merely 424 out of 7,600 targeted until 2016. Other problems in Kotamobagu were related to the supply, backwash, insufficient electrical power supply, no water meter, reservoir leakage, and intake pipes leakage in Poyowa and Bilalang. This research aims to find the root of the problem in terms of Clean Water Supply System (CWSS)'s network system, organization, regulation, and management. The research focused on Poyowa Besar's CWSS and Bilalang-1's CWSS networks in Kotamobagu. The research methods included observation, survey, and policy analysis where respondents were required as sources of information. The respondents were from Sia's and Pontodon's CWSS that represented 162 house connections. Additional respondents representing 30 house connections were selected randomly at Poyowa Besar's and Bilalang-1's CWSS for comparison. The results indicated that the community, CWSS managers, and the Central Government support the existence of Kotamobagu CWSS management. The 30 house connections at Poyowa Besar's and Bilalang-1's CWSS have never been served with water, but the respondents positively hope that the matter will be solved in the near future. They were willing to keep waiting for the water network of Kotamobagu's CWSS. The root of the problem in the Poyowa Besar's and Bilalang-1's implementation was due primarily to a network system that was built by the Ministry of Public Works for the Municipal Government of Kotamobaguwas reportedly not in accordance with procurement regulation. There was disagreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) and the CWSS managers related to the items that have to be fulfilled for network infrastructure handover.

Abstract: This article develops a scorecard to synthetically measure the performance of companies logistics and green supply chain system from four aspects which are customers, finance, innermanaging flow and learning and development. The scorecard covers four aspects and has 22 measurement items. An extensive survey has been conducted in Chinese companies and 206 filled questionnaires have been collected. The researcher have compared the performance difference of logistics and supply chain in state—owned companies, foreign—owned companies and private companies. The results showed that the scorecard had the good reliability and effectiveness to become an effective tool to evaluate green supply chain performance in companies. Furthermore, the results showed that there is no direct relation between planning and executive ability, and applied ability of information technology, so the acting relation between them is deleted and the confirmatory factory analysis between them shows a strong relationship. The applied ability of information technology has a very significant influence on logistics efficiency. However, the influences of planning and executive ability on logistics efficiency are significantly strong, while “planning and executive ability” and “applied ability of information technology” are closely-related to firm strategies and organizational coordination ability. In addition, it is also crucial to build cooperative relationship between suppliers and customers and gives effective training for employees. Finally, this article provide managerial insights for firms to understand and enhance their supply chain management.
