Abstract: This paper discusses a digital control method for efficiency improvement of switching power circuit at light load by using C2000 Series DSP (Texas Instruments Inc.). In this work, we alter the module in DSP to adjust the link voltage between a bridgeless PFC AC/DC converter and a phase shift full bridge DC/DC converter, as well as to control the PWM frequency of power circuit in order to improve the power efficiency in a suitable way. Our experiments result show that the efficiency of the power circuit at half or light load improves by adjusting the link voltage and/or PWM frequency

Abstract: New Hybrid (HB) type Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) is proposed in this paper. It is intended to apply to high speed turbo machinery. This magnetic bearing is easily controlled by a standard linear power amplifier. The proposed magnetic bearing is analyzed and designed through Finite Element Method (FEM). The designed characteristics are compared with the standard electro-magnet type magnetic bearing. The results show good characteristics of high efficiency, good dynamic property and easy manufacturing. The proposed magnetic bearing is fabricated and the simple tests are carried out.

Abstract: The most of the industrial welding applications involving of electronic circuits such as AC-DC, and DC-AC and AC-DC converters. The input power factor of such a system is reduced due to the presence of more harmonics due to the non-linear devices within the converters which leads to creates more adverse effects. There by a need of suitable AC-DC converter with power factor correction technique to condition the supply current. The power factor correction rectifier that requires best current control from i) Peak current control ii) Average current control and iii) Hysteresis current control. This paper presents a comparative analysis from above mentioned power factor correction control topologies. The simulation of these control techniques are carried out using “Plecs” with “MATLAB/SIMULINK”. The simulation results shows that Hysteresis control has low THD, good DC link voltage regulation and better performance than other control techniques. The same control technique is implemented in TMS320F2812 DSP and results are proved.

Abstract: This paper has designed several creative application of Halftone stippling for the convenience of digital processing. It processes images to gain stippling images with different effects by using AM and FM; it also produces 3D Halftone art based on pits effect and raised effect of Relief; Besides, the paper also analyzes the processing method of stippling with paper-cutting effect and the center point’s homogenization treatment with Voronoi diagram. With easy and simple processing, the methods proposed in this paper can be used widely in such areas as landscape, wall decoration, product design, toy design and so on.

Abstract: Taking the swash plate piston pump as the research plant, the paper introduces the composition of digital control system of variable pump first; Then the mathematical model of variable mechanism is established according to which the closed-loop flow control system and the power control system are worked out. Also, the paper shows the stability margin of the control system and analyzes some response indices to step command under Matlab simulation. Aiming at the shortage of the closed-loop control system, the paper gives an idea of an optimization design of the compound power control system based on both feed-forward and feedback control. Compared with the conventional closed-loop power control method, the compound one gets a 47.2% reduction in the adjusting time and a 38.2% decrease in the overshoot indicating that the adjusting process is obviously shortened and the disturbance effect effectively weakened.

Abstract: This paper discusses mechanical digital servo press control system and operating characteristics and adaptability to the hot forming requirements of high strength steel using the toggle mechanical presses [1-4]. A servo motor drive control strategy is made to adapt the stamping process. This paper describes results acquired by applying toggle mechanical servo press developed by author to the hot forming of high strength steel [5-7].

Abstract: Through constructing the battery system of electric vehicle, real-time simulation model of V2G charging converter topology, and combined with material object of hardware and software of V2G charger controller, establishing semi-physical simulation platform for V2G electric vehicle charging system based on RT-LAB real-time systems, which making use of real-time simulation platform to research the control mechanism of charger controller. The experimental results show that: the constructed semi-physical simulation platform is running well, its simulation results of charging and discharging process is relatively consistent with the actual output of V2G charging equipment, it can be used to verify the developed adjustment mechanism of V2G charger and the charging and discharging process of a variety of electric vehicle battery system, provides an ideal semi-physical simulation platform for the verification of the control strategy of electric vehicle V2G charger.

Abstract: Network of NC technology is the realization of manufacturing automation, intelligence, integration and globalization of technology-based. This paper analyzes the development of the network system of the basic requirements of the proposed network of digital systems architecture, with emphasis on the numerical control system network hardware platforms and software platform of Design and Implementation of the analysis described, and pointed out that the Internet-based network NC CNC is a system of research and development trends, there is a strong sense of practical application.
