Abstract: The impact caused by clutch engagement or disengagement leads to vehicle jerking problem. To solve the jerking vibration, the model of the power train and the process of the clutch engagement is built up, and the numerical relations between jerking vibration and key factors (such as the stiffness of clutch disc, the stiffness and damper of side shaft and flywheel) are established, the validity of the model is verified by comparing simulation results and results of measurement, finally the key factors influencing the vibration amplitude and frequency are identified by vehicle tests.

Abstract: s:Aiming at circumferential arc spring dual mass flywheel (CSDMF), this paper carries out analysis on the piecewise linear model and calculates the frequency response of damped model under sinusoidal excitation. Being combined with the calculate results, the research respectively analyzes the value of inertia ratio, torsional stiffness and damping parameters. The analysis results show that the greater the damping, inertia ratio of primary and secondary flywheels are, the torsional stiffness, the more obvious vibration damping of the dual mass flywheel would be. To meet the vibration damping requirements, the detail design of the three parameters need to be combined with power train and the torsion characteristic of CSDMF.

Abstract: In order to research the influence of the main parameters of Dual Mass Flywheel to the torsional vibration of the transmission system, one heavy vehicle was taken as the target vehicle and its dynamics models of transmission system in the idle conditions and the driving conditions were established by ADAMS.Then the main design parameters of Dual Mass Flywheel were gained through simulation and optimization.Finally,a new Dual Mass Flywheel,whose vibrating springs are distributed on both sides of the damping disc,was designed and its damping effect was studied through simulation research.

Abstract: To verify the damping effect of dual mass flywheel, the experiment is designed in use of power-transmission test-bed and rev-torque testing apparatus, and dual mass flywheel of DCT transmission system DQ250 is used to test its damping effect in the experiment. Kinds of conditions of car, like idle condition, run condition, climb condition, are simulated in experiment. The results show that different engine revs and loads, different damping effects of dual mass flywheel. The high engine rev and the more load, the better damping effect of dual mass flywheel.

Abstract: Combining the research and development of dual mass flywheel, the paper explores the realizing methods of CAD/CAE/CAM integrated design system. The system is composed of modules including digital structure design and simulation, entire-car NVH analysis, analysis and optimization of formation process and welding process. Based on PDM technique, data sharing and integration could be realized through corresponding interface procedures by establishing a uniform product data model. The paper studies on the digital structure design and simulation, torsional vibration analysis, sheet material forming technology simulation and welding technology simulation. Finally the paper shows the comparison between one type of dual mass flywheel sample test curve and simulation curve.
