Abstract: The Environment Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis was applied to explore the relationship between economic growth and heavy metal pollution of lake sediments in Nansi Lake basin. The indicator of economic growth (IEG) was extracted from ten important economic indexes by the method of principal component analysis based on the data from 1978 to 2007. Some representative heavy metals including Hg, Cu, Br and Mn were chosen to analyze the level of heavy metals pollution in Nansi Lake basin. According to the previous research results that the deposition rate of Nansi Lake sediments was 3.5 mm/a, Kriging interpolation method was used to segment the 10.5cm core into 30 parts. The coupling results show that there is an inverted U-shaped curve between IEG and the element Br, half of an inverted U-shaped curve between IEG and Hg and Mn, and a N-shaped curve between IEG and Cu.

Abstract: This document analyses change of air quality of Wuhan basing on Urban Air Quality Daily Report (UAQDP) data during 2001-2010. The paper includes four parts: The first part focuses on changing trend of three air quality indicators (concentration of SO2, PM10, NOX). The second part analyses potential factors which affect air quality through grey correlation analysis method. I find that atmospheric temperature and economic growth are the most important factors among them. In the third part, I try to test if the relation of Wuhan’s air quality and economic growth verify Environmental Kuznets Curves (EKCs) hypothesis. The results show that SO2 increase first and decrease after GDP per capita increasing to 18000 Yuan, which form inverted U shape, while PM10 decrease and NOX increase continuously along with GDP growth. EKCs hypothesis is supported partly in Wuhan. The fourth part is a conclusion.

Abstract: The present Extraction for Keyword in Chinese (EKC for short) is merely directed against explicit keywords or prototype keywords, and has not take into account those tacit keywords distorted by network hackers with the method of active jamming in Chinese. For this purpose, with the help of M. Polanyi’s theory of tacit knowledge, this paper presents a new approach for the tacit EKC (TEKC for short), which can improve the ratio of precision and recall for information filtering. Based on the TEKC, the paper presents a set of classifications of how to distort the explicit keywords and the solutions to calculate the tacit distortion of those tacit keywords. Furthermore, 4 algorithms were designed, including in picture tacit, textspeak tacit, fake paleography tacit and character tacit, which can extract the tacit keywords in text but traditional EKC could not. Owing to the increased number of extracted keywords, the recall of keywords raised and the precision of information filtering improved. Experiments show that the classification of tacit keywords in Chinese, the calculation of tacit distortion and the algorithms to tacit extract the keywords in Chinese, etc can effectively improve the performance of EKC and raise the recall of web filtering algorithms based on TEKC.
