Abstract: The stability and dynamics of the two-dimensional elastic plate with simply supported boundary conditions in uniform axial subsonic flow were studied. The governing equations of coupled elastic plate in axial flow were derived based on the potential theory. The finite difference method was employed to discrete the governing equation and the flow potential function. The governing equation can be expressed as the function of structural transverse vibration displacement by the matrix operations. The eigenvalue method was used to analyze the stability of the elastic plate, the results of which show that the models with simply supported boundary conditions undergo divergent instability when flow velocity reaches the critical value, the critical divergence velocity is in close agreement with theoretical result using other analytical approaches.

Abstract: Problems on contact interaction between continuous or discontinuous infinite stringer or with a stringer of finite length with an elastic semi-infinite plate, having a finite crack, which vertically comes out to the lower bound of the stringer, are considered. The edges of the crack are loaded by vertical to them symmetric forces, and the upper bounds of the stringers are loaded by symmetrically distributed tangential forces.

Abstract: In the present paper a dynamic nonlinear model with contact and buckling for an elasticplate is considered. The model consists of two coupled nonlinear hyperbolic type partial differentialequations. The plate is subjected to compressive and/or tensile moving loads on its edges. The foundationsare nonlinear elastic Winkler and Pasternak models. The initial-boundary value problems forthe model are solved with the use of the time spectral method for spatial discretization and after thediscretization the Newmark- time-stepping iterative scheme for the obtained system of nonlinear ordinarydifferential equations. The model is tested for the Winkler-type and shear Pasternak-type andas well for several values of the physical constants of the foundations.

Abstract: Through complex variables function, wave propagation of perforated thin-walled plates is deduced. And it is found out that the dynamical stress concentrates where the concentration parameter vertical to incident orientation is about 1.5, and with the increase of incident wave frequency, holes have less influence on the dynamical stress concentration during wave propagation. With the help of acoustic emission technique, holes do not have much effect on nondestructive test of acoustic emission.

Abstract: A series of experimental research results on the characteristic of diesel elastic-plate impingement spray using High Speed Photography camera are presented in this paper. The experiments were carried out in a constant volume chamber specially designed, which can hold a high ambiance pressure. The special fixed device was designed so that the elastic-plate can be fixed on the spray path, meanwhile the spray incident angle and height can be changed. The free jet spray and elastic-plate impingement spray was compared under the same experimental condition including different injection pressure and different background pressure. Experimental research showed that impingement spray droplets diffuse more quickly than free jet spray.

Abstract: By means of the wavelet analysis theory, the damage identification of elastic plate was studied. Adopted the finite element method to analyze the dynamic character of the plate and applied the method of Lanczos for calculating the strain mode, and the strain mode is analyzed by mexh wavelet (Mexican Hat wavelet). The location of the declining stiffness is identified by the place where maximum of wavelet coefficients appears. Therefore, this method is applied to the elastic damaged plate. Three types of damaged regions in rectangular simply supported plate are recognized, which indicates this method is effective and accurate. And this method has a certain value in the project application.
