Abstract: The paper substantiates the need of implementation of energy saving policy in Ukraine on the state level. The changes of the structure of national production, implementation of energy saving technology are mentioned as the way of the policy implementation, as this would lower dependence from oil and gas import and lead to economy stabilization and provide the conditions for energy safety of the country. The proposed method of energy efficiency increase for electric drives with use of group power supply from common feeder bars of direct current with capacity storage, as well as normalizing of traditional power quality indicators by means of AVI of PWM connected in the system input enable significant energy saving on the national scale.

Abstract: The paper considers issues of a mathematical model development of a “deformation zone - main electric drive” concerning hot plate mills. The dependence of the calculation of rolling torque on features of high deformation zone is given. Based on the obtained expressions, the structural diagram of the deformation zone model has been developed. The paper specifies the structure of the mathematical model for electric drive speed control system based on the known equations of synchronous motor. After the comparison of the transient processes of the electric drive coordinates and rolling settings obtained at the modeling and oscillography at the mill the conformity of the developed model to the studied object has been proved. The provided mathematical model is recommended to analyze the dynamic percussion leads that occurred at hot plate mill. The model obtained allows it to improve the reliability of the electromechanical system owing to the adaptation of the rolling schedule at the real-time operation mode.

Abstract: A simulation model of a pulse frequency-phase discriminator (PFPD) in the Matlab Simulink application package was developed. The main PFPD modes simulation and the analysis results were carried out. The simulation results are discussed in this paper.

Abstract: As pumps and pumping stations of oil collecting, maintaining reservoir pressure, transportation and treatment processes account for over 50 % of oil and gas enterprises estimated total cost of electricity, relevant issue is the development and application of intelligent control systems for energy efficiency of these processes. For the booster pump station as a multivariable nonlinear control object are proposed: a structure in which the function of regulating valves transferred to the pumps with frequency speed control; conceptual model with seven inputs and five outputs (adjustable) variables, which is the basis for constructing three-dimensional fuzzy controller with not-fuzzy terms to stabilize and improve the energy efficiency of oil transportation and treatment processes and minimize energy losses. In this paper we propose a control system of pumping station on the basis of multidimensional fuzzy logic controller with compensation of the mutual influence of control loops in the form of an additional system of production rules that helped to stabilize the liquid level at 2.5 m given level with an absolute error of ± 0.2 m and thus improve quality oil emulsion on the installation of oil and gas refining central collection point.

Abstract: The paper substantiates the use of the controlled electric drive of the circulating pumps in the hot-water supply systems of buildings. It considers the pump capacity control method as a function of the daily hot water consumption. The law of controlling motor speed with limitation of the minimum and maximum allowable water consumption has been proved. The schematic structure of the system controlling water consumption in the hot water supply circulation circuit is provided. Based on results of analysis of the daily water supply diagram both in case of controlled and uncontrolled consumption, the efficiency of the proposed method has been confirmed. Energy resource saving in the hot water supply system of the existing heating unit has been experimentally substantiated.

Abstract: This paper addresses the issue of functional possibilities of reversible electric drive based on active front end rectifier and voltage source inverter from the point of view of energy saving. This paper will review all theoretical capabilities of reactive power compensation in the supply mains by the active front end rectifiers. The reactive power consumption or generation can be created out by using of active front end converters which connect the electric drive with supply mains. Active front end rectifiers can be actively used in operation of supply mains of enterprise as they are able to provide controlled power factor and bidirectional power flow. The studies by mathematical modeling in the Matlab/Simulink program were carried out. It was established that the controlling of power factor of active front end rectifier can be used for reactive power compensation in supply mains. The huge prospects of energy-saving reversible electric drive integration to the Smart Grid have been determined as it is able to provide high power and capabilities of the controlling reactive power flow by means of active front end rectifier. It can reduce a share of the consumption reactive power from a substation and to improve the power quality.

Abstract: Papers present a new solution for achieving downforce to a brake disc, using a drive gear and ball screw-nut, which the construction adopted, allows moving ball-screw and making the necessary downforce for breaking. The stand includes downforce creating system required by deceleration, and is equipped with a plurality of sensors to determine the following parameters. Measurement of downforce-ring load cell, displacement in the running drive-pressure transducer, mechanism decoupling travel-differential inductive transducer, electrical motor and gear drive mechanism speed-speed transducer, and electric drive motor torque-lamellar load cell. These transducers allow the control of screw ball to realize the forces that are acting on the brake linings in order to control the speed of the vehicle. Using this construction, brake actuation can get higher quality reactions in brake systems.

Abstract: The book transporter innovation to improve the efficiency of the modern library book classification is an important aspect. In this essay, Based on the research on the electric control system, a DC motor as a metal belt stepless automatic transmission was adopt to greatly reduce the number of parts the system and improve overall efficiency, response speed and control precision ratio, thus library books for transportation vehicles designed control system, enabling the driver, speed and other functions. Software such as the Solidworks was applied for designing body shape, includes a handle, a frame, wheels, support frame, a 'W'-shaped support frame was proposed, it can be installed to increase the capacity of the trolley, a pedal was added at the bottom of the trolley, the user can stand on it to save effort. The electric trolley placed the book has simple structure, easy to use, saving manpower, high efficiency, and has good practical value.
