Abstract: A design of an embedded ARM-based control system for automatic strapping machine is described. This control system uses embedded ARM microprocessor as the core processor, which consists of a STM32 ARM chip and other electronic components. It introduces the general structure, the control method and the implementation of the control system in this paper. The system has many advantages, such as simple and reasonable circuit, stable working performance, simple operation, etc.

Abstract: An embedded control system development methodology based on model-driven development method was emerged, the basic features and architecture of the embedded control system of specific areas were analyzed and summarized, and the key elements of this specific domain were identified and extracted. Afterwards, a visible element modeling technique was used to build a directly graphical model system, and this kind of embedded modeling technique based on model-driven was applied to realize a model of embedded Robot control system design. As a result, the Robot source model of this system was obtained.

Abstract: An embebbed system based on S3C6410 controller and Linux operating system is established to overcome the deficiencies of the traditional control system for high accuracy processing of grinding diesel injector nozzle because of its high speed and real-time performance. In this paper,the general structure of the system is designed firstly. Secondly, the detailed hardware platform is constructed and its peripheral equipment is selected. In addition,the software structure is presented. Finally, the main application program,including of processing control program and algorithm of the flow signal processing which is the key factor for high accuracy maching, is studied. The actual processing data shows that this system has good real-time performance, high processing accuracy and stablity.

Abstract: In order to control heat treating furnace temperature and transfer real time data, an embedded control system has been built. The system’s hardware was mainly made up of microcontroller, analog, digital and RS485 interfaces. It has the ability of exchanging data with an industrial PC via SCADA Modbus network. According to the features of control process and the hardware’s performance, the system’s software was divided into Modbus task, control task, I/O scan task, panel task, and alarm task. The RTX51 Tiny was used as software kernel. By running in cooperative multitasking manner, the five tasks handle various functions of the system. Each of the five tasks is introduced. The task scheduling is explained. It is shown that the system can meet the requirements of process control and data acquisition. With the advantages of multitasking structure, simple hardware frame, reliable network communication and low cost, the design method we mentioned is valuable for developing embedded control systems.

Abstract: This paper carried out the control system design of a DFV based on dynamical characteristic analysis, and flight experiments were carried out to validate the performance of the control system. Firstly, the characteristics such as outstanding and control difficulty were pointed out, and then the control strategy such as three forms of translation is proposed. In the end, the controller was realized and tested by a series of experiments, and the excellent performance was demonstrated by the experimental results.

Abstract: Power battery in the HEV normally has a high capacity. Therefore during the start-up procedure of HEV motor, pre-charge phase is essential in order to reduce the impact of high current. In this paper, we build a HEV motor pre-charge model then deploy it on cRIO embedded control system to simulate the whole process with high real time. Finally the paper tests some typical fault conditions which demonstrate great benefits.

Abstract: An embedded controller in green house is designed and analyzed in this paper, which is consisted of embedded terminal and wireless sensor node. The captured data by sensor nodes will be sent to the base station, after which, certain information will be sent to controller by the base station through RS232 protocol. The controller is used for receiving, displaying, storing the temperature information and controlling the temperature according to some related settings, which is implemented with ARM 9 micro processor and embedded Linux OS. The system is confirmed to be stable and reliable in field practice, which fulfills the design specification

Abstract: Here a low cost embedded robotic gripper with force control function is designed for frangible fruit manipulation. This embedded control gripper is integrated with a Mitsubishi robot based on FPGA control structure. The model-free intelligent fuzzy sliding mode control strategy is employed to design the position controller of each joint and gripper force controller, respectively. Experimental results of pick-and-place frangible small tomato and banana fruit are shown by pictures to evaluate this embedded position/force hybrid control system performance.

Abstract: Real time Monitoring system is an important gurantee for the water quality. SDI-12 water sensors are used to monitor the water conductivity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, Ph, turbidity and other parameters in this paper. The signal of the wastewater is collected to the ARM chip, and then it is processed by the chip. The preliminary result will be displayed on a handheld terminal in real time. The handheld terminal also integrates the function of remote data transmission, which can transmit the original water data to a central server for storage via GPRS. Central server analyse the wastewater data based on ontology. Meanwhile, the system can also control water detector via remote control, which realizes the unattended effect.
